Very lucky that this pub is local, great food with a great atmosphere, whenever you drop by. If you fancy a quick pint or a family Sunday lunch, you cannot go wrong.

This place does not deserve its entry in the Extra Mile. Waited quite a while for a simple baked potato and cheese. The cheese was minimal - a dusting - and too much butter. No side salad or any accompanying food to enjoy. Just under £10. The mark up is huge - effectively 50p to buy ingredients. I mentioned the lack of cheese and my disappointment. Met with lack of interest and no apology or reaction by three staff.

We have loved this place for a long time. We decided to have our wedding reception here. I could not have chosen anywhere more perfect for us. The service was amazing, very attentive staff excellent food and over all a very efficient service. The staff and management really helped make our day run smoothly. The accommodation and facilities was wonderful. We will be staying there again and be making frequent visits as usual. Thank you roadehouse team for playing an important part in our very special day.

We booked a table here about 2 weeks prior to meeting up with friends, we picked here as a mid way point us from Cambridge them from Swindon. When we arrived 30th Dec we were told they hadn’t had a chef for about 3 weeks and weren’t offering food, we explained we had booked and hadn’t been told this apparently we SHOULD have been informed! Not great when you have travelled 60+ miles to be there and you’re in a town you don’t know !!! Very bad show !!!!

Excellent pub owners and very friendly and helpful, food excellent with a hog roast on New Years Eve. Stopped in their small campsite which had all the facilities you needed. Will be returning in our van again. Many thanks for you're hospitality

Been informed by the bar manager that we can no longer upgrade our meal deals for unknown reasons, staying here for weeks at time trying to stick to the meal deal meams eating the same meals over and over again. The beefeater in general is in a terrible condition, sticky tables filthy toilets and lacklustre customer service with a chef arguing with a colleague that his clearly raw chicken was infact cooked. The hotel itself is in a prime location located minutes from the M1. Unfortunately the rooms fall far short ! The heating in several rooms DOES NOT work and when asked the staff simply say there's no room to move you. The showers are falling apart and the mattresses are very tired. Not a good overall experience here at all and if it wasn't for the fact that it's booked through a business accounts I very much doubt it would get many repeat customers at all.

Very popular on a Sunday & I can see why - the food is great! Mainly roasts purchased in our party, and belly pork. Sadly very little to lure the vegetarians, so I won't be dashing back, but most of my group were extremely impressed!

Lovely little pub. Under new ownership and can't recommend highly enough. Stopped in for lunch with some pals after golf up the road and the food was delicious, service quick and friendly and delicious pints. Excellent little pub!

We ordered online which was quick and easy and I’m not exaggerating when I say it arrived in 10 mins! We both got fish and chips and it was delicious. Very happy and will order again!

One of the best original British pubs, no food just drink which is how it should be. Not many left like this in Brackley. Lyndon @ Anna have done a great job and continue to do so. Lovely place and never any problems.
