The best restaurants in Acle Broadland East of England

Absolutely love Scooters. The breakfast and coffee are delicious. We love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Used to take our dogs when they were alive as there is a room set aside for them.

We have just had a lovely visit to acle bridge inn, food was really delicious I had fish pie and pavlova stack My daughter had beef and guiness pie and crumble. We were welcomed by a great scouser with a big friendly personality and the service was great throughout the whole meal. Sat by the fire which kept our 12 week old baby cosy and asleep in her pram Will return xx

We always stop here after visiting the seals. Never lets us down. Today the food was fantastic, as was the service. Some of the best pub grub you’ll get anywhere.

1st time we have been bit of a wait for the food but were told when we sat down as they were busy, but it was well worth the wait it was pipping hot & very good selection of vegetables & a good choice of desserts as well, the staff were very friendly & helpful & polite would recommend it & will definitely go again

Decided to head to the Acle Steak with my mum after a tiring day of house moving/sorting. We were immediately made to feel very welcome by Benji, who continued to look after us attentively but non obtrusively for the duration of our meal. The food (pan fried sea bass and fish and chips) was beautifully cooked and very tasty and lovely chilled out atmosphere was just what we both needed. Thanks so much Benji and chef of the night!

Modern and nicely set out in a generic modern way. Tea was fine and the cakes are better than some. Yes, it's in Acle so you do get an NFN crowd...and what will stop us coming back....a love of dogs....how are cafes allowed dogs that lick up crumbs from the chairs, all encouraged by owners and the staff!

Fuimos un domingo por la noche, el restaurante estaba lleno, solo esperamos 5 minutos para una mesa. El comedor estaba limpio y ordenado, el personal era educado y servicial, y nuestra comida era extremadamente sabrosa y bien preparada, esta fue la mejor que he tenido en un restaurante tailandés, muy feliz de volver a comer allí sin problemas.

Best part of an hour waiting for a breakfast! The vegi breakfast seems very much an after thought with burgers? Not impressed at all, won't bother going back

What a load of slop. Never in 49 yrs of eating Indian food have I had this absolutely terrible slop. They have no idea of what a curry is . Stay at home and cook it yourself or please go elsewhere and dave your life

Superb food when I visited. Doner Meat & Chips on the first visit, and fried chicken on the second. Good value, good food, friendly service. Top stuff!

We was had just handed the boat back across the river and the four of us thought we would go over the bridge to get some breakfast We sat inside waiting to be served then after about 15 mins a member of staff came over to ask us what we would like we asked first for two teas and two coffee’s which we we’re then told they had no milk to make them so we decided to drive into Great Yarmouth and get some breakfast there as we wanted drinks with the breakfast

We use this place quite regularly, this busy takeaway never takes long to prepare your food and the various dishes we've tried over the months have been very tasty and always hot. Prices are about the same as other takeaways Highly recommended, love it

We stayed for 1 night in a room and ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. After the initial mix up with a room being double booked, we had a pleasant stay. The staff were great, We did have to chase up a spare towel and extra pillows in the room we were later allocated and its worth noting the room only had a mirror in the bathroom which was a bit of an inconvenience and unusual. Food was excellent though, especially the steaks and definitely made up for it. Breakfast was also delicious. Shop around for the room prices if booking an overnight stay as they do differ on different booking sites which is a little frustrating, especially if you've secured a room at a higher price.

Most expensive pint of beer I’ve ever had. Little to choose from at the bar. Meal was average. Service, RUBBISH! Give it a miss next time round!
