We had a splendid lunch here yesterday. The cafe offers a good range of very reasonably price options for breakfast or lunch. I had a panini with bacon, chicken, tomato and lettuce, with a side salad. It was well prepared and tasty. The owners are very friendly and nice, service good. Worth a visit.

If like me you'd rather have a quiet coffee & tasty bite without having to negotiate prams & other people's "little darlings" then The Red Mug is a bolt-hole you'll like. Refreshingly simple, but wide menu & good coffee that doesn't suffer from "The Cambridge Effect". I'll be back.

Tasty food, fast service and excellent packaging. Specially the vegetarian option Dhansak was delicious, respectful staff and great service. Quick & good quality takeaway experience.

Great experience. I got myself a meal number 2 with Dr Pepper and spicy potatoes, the potatoes were one of a kind. Absolutely amazing. The 2pc chicken and the 3 hot wings were absolutely spectacular and so was the service. I was served by a young teenage boy and not only was he a professional but also a great person to talk to as I was waiting for the food.

Great drink in off licence. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Love how they have teamed up with all the various food vans. We've had some great meals from them.

Brilliant venue, freshly cooked pizza was great, staff all helpful and friendly, highly recommended, great area and music event was brilliant

Absolutely ridiculous if you’re vegan or gluten-free. this is the disastrous display for nearly £30. Incredibly poor for the 21st century!

Hearty thanks to Jenny, Dee and Desi for arranging and baking the really wonderful carrot cakes, lemon drizzle cakes and banana bread which made our daughters's Confirmation celebration such a convivial affair. Guests really loved the cakes and noticed the unusually high quality; it makes such a difference to find genuinely traditional baked goods without any artificial additives.My grandmother who was a talented baker,. would have been impressed. warmest regards, Karen

Viking have been under new management since December 2023 and I like the new team. We had fish-n-chips and both parts of this classic combo were done perfectly for us.

Lovely venue, lovely host. Great shower. Comfy bed. Enjoyed my stay.
