We went here for a coffee and ended up having one off their excellent scones. Tea was a little weak, but then I like strong tea, coffee was very good. Cakes looked lovely and fresh They also do sandwiches cooked breakfast soup. what I saw off it all looked very fresh and well presented. Staff were a little slow in making drinks so dont go if you are in a rush. Just enjoy the place. It was not nosisy.

Always an amazing experience here. We dined at the restaurant today because the Chef's table was full but still we had an incredible time. The food was great, the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. This place is turning out to be our go to restaurant for special occasions.

Wonderful Christmas concert, some of the best brass musicians in the country. Thank you again for this annual extravaganza.

Lovely pub with a nice crowd and great service. The bar area is dog friendly too. You can tell that the produce is of very high quality, but the food was a bit hit and miss in terms of flavour. Also, it was surprising that there is no chicken dish at all on the menu. - the pork belly was fantastic. - the veggie Moroccan stew (a daily special) was also excellent. - the prawn linguine was just OK. -the beef shin stew was also just a bit lacking in wow factor. - thehe children's linguine bolognese tasted okay but lacked a bit of tomato/sauce. In terms of desserts: - the rice pudding was nice but was dairy free so not your usual British creamy version. - the pear sticky toffee cake was very tasty but the coconut sorbet it came with had almost no coconut taste. - the brownie was good. - I can't remember the other dessert (I think it was a special) but it was nice with a fantastic lime sorbet.

It was very quiet when I went there for a quick lunch. I'm sure it gets busier in the Summer. The Bridge water Arms is located on the edge of the beautiful (even in winter) Ashridge forest. It is a cosy country pub with no pretensions. The food was good and not expensive. Service was quick and friendly. Well worth a visit.
