I didn't stay in a room, but I had Christmas dinner there. It was very tasty and wonderfully presented plus excellent staff.

An absolute standout, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!! From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the staff. What truly sets the White Hart apart is their focus on food – it’s clear this is one of their passions. This isn’t your average pub grub – I felt it was like restaurant quality and I would come here even just for the food. The flavours are incredible, the presentation is stunning and it just tastes fresh. Not to mention, the vegan/veggie options they have make me very happy. The staff were brilliant too– friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the experience they’re offering. A special mention for Libby who looked after us so well, she was incredibly helpful, personable and made the whole experience even better with her warm hospitality. It’s rare to find that kind of service these days - attentive and genuine! They also have a games room with an interactive Darts game! If you’re in Hertford and looking for a pub that delivers delicious food and great service, the White Hart is the place to go. I’m already planning my next visit!

Booked a table for 5 at half 7 on Friday night. Got there and the restaurant was closed. Had to then wander round Hertford trying to find another restaurant that wasn't fully booked and was taking walk-ins. Had no contact info as their website is under construction, and the opening hours on Google are wrong. Not sure if restaurant has closed down or has been taken over, but probably shouldn't be taking bookings through OpenTable if you aren't open.

Just had another superb meal at Elles Kitchen. This restaurant is the best Thai for miles around. Food tastes fresh and very well presented. Totally recommend this restaurant.

Superb. Snuck in a packet of digestive biscuits and an out of date M&S cheeseboard. Bought a couple of bottles of red . Had a fantastic one man party. Also really like this place because people tend to leave you alone.

Absolutely fantastic food and what fantastic people. We’ve visited Hertford for the weekend and was overwhelmed by the hospitality that we were shown by the owners. Totally recommended.

Absolutely love love love love this place! The food is incredible! Best salads I've ever tasted and the staff are so sweet. They also do amazing cakes that are gluten and refined sugar free. Love coming here whenever I'm in Hertford :)

Recently arrived in the area, looking for a new Indian restaurant to call "Home" for the foreseeable future. Nice Inside, pleasant waiting staff, average food (travel extensively throughout India every year, we know our Bhaji's from our Bhuna's!!). Had 2 Cobra beers (Draught NOT bottled, purchase price from wholesalers equivalent to £1.59 a Pint) We were charged £8.00 a pint, so 2 beers alone cost us £32!!!!!!!!. I understand you want to make a profit of course, but by ripping potential long standing customers off will certainly hit your pocket in the long run. I for one, will certainly NOT be returning, and believe me....you have lost a lot of trade, I will give mine to one of the other restaurants nearby.

After having a talk with Nathan, it was abundantly clear that the value he holds high are that of a premium mixologist. Selecting the finest ingredients from that available of the suppliers, the Pina Colada and Virgin Pornstar Martini excelled the expectations of our party and were truly mixed and pursed with passion and finese. A true asset, and high commendations to Nathan, our true mixologist and cocktail wizard.

Visited today for a belated birthday brunch with a friend. I had a banoffee sandwich and my friend had some pancakes. Both meals were delicious and were served beautifully, too. Service was wonderful and our smoothies were lovely! Would recommend and would happily visit again.

Came here one Friday night with a friend. I'd previously been to Anexo before it had moved location and had a great experience so had high hopes when bringing my friend along to the new location. Staff were friendly and it was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately a number of the wines were not available but we chose from the selection they had. Food was nice, some bits better than others. Maybe not as higher standards as I remember from the restaurant but it's still early days with the move and maybe still having some teething issues. Would still come back and have lots more plates to try on the menu.
