The Gathering, a friendly gathering of magicians promoted a magic show in the main restaurant of the casino which included a buffet for us, a total of 60 guests. It was more like a Banquet than a Buffet it was amazing hot and cold food, it was Gastronomic! The waiter service with drinks, food and topping up the buffet was unwavering. We would recommend anyone considering booking an event requiring a buffet to contact the Grosvener Casino. Gemma, The General Manager was visible and attentive to every detail, as were the staff. Thank you again to the Grosvener Casino, Jeffrey Drayton. On behalf of ‘The Gathering’ To see the writer of this appreciative review, Google:- Jeff BGT. Have fun!

The food from here was excellent. Particularly the round container of two mains plus rice or noodles for under a tenner. Perfect portion size too. We were staying at the neighbouring Hopton Holiday Village which was very nearby but the option for delivery for £1.50 was too tempting. We ordered meals by phone for our party of 12 a couple of hours in advance. The food arrived smack on time, all the dishes were correct, and they were all delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

First time here. I went for a coffee and cake after cleaning my parent's grave. The cafe is lovely and welcoming. Prices are good. My cappuccino was first class but my fruit scone was awful. It was dry and didn't taste great, which was a shame. Either it was stale or the ingredients were not great.

Lovely place to go. Very busy but worth the visit. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly lady called Ellen, I think her name was. Ellen called a waiter over called Bruce, who made our evening. He was funny, professional and polite. Nothing was to much trouble. Ellen and Bruce make a brilliant professional team. Well done. My son and I ended up staying for over 2 hours and chatting to the other guests as we felt so welcomed. The food was incredible, as usual, hot, tasty amd plenty. I also had 2 deserts. The lady chef was brilliant and professional. Ellen came over to the carvery section and cleaned up as well. The team all seemed to care about there work, which is unusual for this day and age. 5 out of 5.

On our first night in Great Yarmouth we wondered into the "Marine" looking for some food. The Pub was quiet, and all the Staff were genuinely friendly. My Wife has Gallstones and is waiting an Operation so has to be so careful what she eats, the Staff were able to adapt a Prawn Salad for her, which we appreciated. I'm a huge Pie guy, and I chose the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie, which was a bit special, and I can't say I've eaten many, if any better. It's truly delicious. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely meal. Definitely drop in and try the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie.

This was the worst Fish and chips we have had ANYWHERE! I am not sure the fish is actually cod as it had that grey/brown horrible bit you get sometimes but it's usually only a little. These bits it was thick and ran through the whole pieces ,that's what happens to Pollock when it's old we litterally couldn't eat it and just had chip "butties". To Add insult to injury 2 medium "Cod" 1 small chips, a sausage for the dog and 2 Gherkins. £ 27. 60! By the way the sausage was really poor too, pink mush. Thee gherkins almost like green paste. AVOID!! The only reason for 2 stars and not one is the Lady who served me was lovely. I wonder where she gets her Fish and chips.....

The Ultimeat Carvery—false advertising at its finest. Where was the meat? The scraps I found were tougher than old boots, and the rest was missing in action. No Yorkshire puddings. NONE. A carvery without Yorkshires is a national scandal. Instead, they drowned the plate in red cabbage, as if that’s what we came for. My dad declared it the worst carvery in living memory—and he’s eaten school dinners in the 70s. Dry meat, no Yorkshires, and cabbage everywhere. Bravo, Toby’s. Truly dreadful.
