The best restaurants in Hunstanton King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Food was good, staff were friendly and food was brought out within minutes of us ordering. At £28 for both of us the price wasn’t bad either. But the only problem was we did not realise that dogs were allowed into the restaurant part. At one point there were 5 big long haired dogs near us. The dogs were wet so they smelt quite bad. We ate up has fast as we could and left. We would not go back into the restaurant part again. But next time we will just get takeaway,

Tremendous hospitality, quality and price. Being a UK curry connoisseur, I thoroughly recommend the Northgate. Whatever your favourite dish it will meet your expectations.

Dan and his staff always make every visit fun and welcoming, and the food is incredible. My parents Alan and Norma are a regular fixture there with good reason.

Definitely gone down hill since our last visit. Over priced Tasteless fish. We also has a kabob on stale bread, overall very poor.

Nice little cafe with a good choice on the menu. Staff were friendly. Hot chocolate was a delight. Will visit again when next in Hunstanton.

I have been in a here a few times as work in the area. The customer service is absolutely diabolical in here. Some of the rudest people I have ever met who clearly hate their job so take it out on the customers. The sandwiches are also crap. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

We came home with a great selection of apples and pears from the orchard, some we had not heard of before, they are all the same price by weight so you just make your own selection into a bag. We will be batch-baking apple-crumble for the freezer. They also have a nice butchery selection and local cheese amongst other edible. Not so keen about Gurneys the fresh fish shop as they didn't seem to want the custom they shut up early. The Fish and chip shop had a gluten problem which I will review separately.

Dear Tim R, We've really enjoyed eating and drinking at Number 29. Especially when we can get a table in the front with the fire. And I really like you steaks. I'm a beer drinker and it would be nice to get a real ale but it seems all the restaurants in BM have changed their beer suppliers. I always amused by your responses to negative comments. Defiantly worth a read. See you in February.

Had a nice meal for 2 here. Decor and building is lovely, service was efficient and meals came out quickly. A decent choice on the menu, not insanely expensive depending on what you chose. Chocolate brownie dessert was delicious.

One of the best lattes I have ever had!!!! The service wasn’t amazing but I find that with most of the places along the front of Hunstanton. The coffee niceness completely overruled the negative though!

Unfortunately last two times been to kays hasn't been great. Used to always go kays, now i use the donut place that does deep fried oreos further along much better. Used to be an older lady that run the kays van but has recently changed to 2 young girls. Both times they've been less than talkative/friendly. We went on the 01/10 which was about 20c at 17.30 the donuts i recieved had obviously been sitting there awhile as they weren't even picking up the sugar. They were gross.... burnt, cold and just coating with no real filling to them. There was another 2 full bags next to the bin..... not even the seagulls wanted them. Dissapointing

Gorgeous house, spotlessly clean and in a stunning location.

A recommendation for us so we booked for lunch on our last day staying in Heacham. And so glad we did act in the recommendation. Lots of the furbishment happening outside and I imagine in the summer it would be great and a real sun trap . More though about our visit friendly staff and just the right amount of attentiveness. Reading the new menu it was obvious everything is carefully put together and lots of lovely choices. My hubby had the BBQ mackerel to start I had the Crab crumpets - both just amazing. We then both went for the mussels as a main and a side of fries (which we did not really need) the size of the portions was large with focaccia on the side- mussels perfectly cooked. With a rum and wine to accompany the bill came to £80 - you def get what you pay for here- we felt special and enjoyed our meal so much it was delicious. I like they do a lunch time special too. We will visit again !

Had a terrible experience with the food, chicken was not fully cooked and had to demonstrate to waiter the chicken, waiter was kind enough to bring me another entree that included chicken. To my surprise the chicken once again was not fully cooked and had pink in many of the areas. This was embarrassing for the guest which was over 60 guest, when I was given the opportunity to speak with the manager I was offered at the minimum an email from the General Manager and as of 1/15/2025 I have not heard from them.
