The best restaurants in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Had a terrible experience with the food, chicken was not fully cooked and had to demonstrate to waiter the chicken, waiter was kind enough to bring me another entree that included chicken. To my surprise the chicken once again was not fully cooked and had pink in many of the areas. This was embarrassing for the guest which was over 60 guest, when I was given the opportunity to speak with the manager I was offered at the minimum an email from the General Manager and as of 1/15/2025 I have not heard from them.

Cleaner than some brewer's fayre, same old food. New chairs and carpets make the place more presentable. Friendly staff.

Fantastic place really helpful staff and good service

Waited in a queue to get to the door only to find that the card machine is not working. However, you can gladly perform a bank transfer to someone's bank account to pay for your order. Even if I had a network signal I still wouldn't, I'd be cautious.

Order was made completely wrong, stone cold and nearly a 2 hour wait.

Didn't actually get to go in as when we got back to have drink and bite to eat after a rainy wet and windy walk along the beach it was closed way before it was meant to be but I guess that's because no one was there and was a terrible day weather wise so I'll just say it was great lol and go again and do s real review

WHAT A NEW YEARS EVE!!! Had an amazing night and could not fault anything. Food was delicious and plentiful, Great party atmosphere. Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you to the staff for their service and festive spirit. Happy 2025.

Very nice stay here whilst working. Room was absolutely amazing!! bar and restaurant very nice. Only criticism would be breakfast is not served till 8am so I had to miss it as I needed to be at my first job at 8am! I think this is quite late for breakfast also some background music in the bar and restaurant would of made the ambience nicer.

We spent New Year’s Eve here. Food was delicious and service great. They also catered for our children really well as well.

Perfect place for a short sea escape get away to unwind. Sea front location, fantastic, warm and cosy quiet room with comfortable beds, fresh good food and the most important very welcoming staff! We stayed with my daughter here to celebrate her 16th birthday and we felt welcomed from the start. In our room there were waiting a surprise gifts for her with balloon included! and staff didn’t want me to pay for it. On the evening there was a nice entertainment, singing group in the traditional, well kept pub downstairs and in the morning we got a good selection of breakfast, we opted for a full English breakfast. Definitely I really recommend The Wash & Tope for a sea escape. We will come back. Thank you!!!
