The best restaurants in Luton East of England

Ordered a double cheese burger with no pickle onion and mustard and a 6 mcnugget meal all the food came cold and my burger had onions in it and had some green patches on the patty only good thing about my meal is that i got two drinks. Unbelievable this restaurant is a joke

Stayed yesterday for one night in order to get a plane in morning. The initial look of the hotel is positive and the receptionist was helpful. However the people out the front smoking, old guy curled up in the corner-wasn’t sure if rigor mortis had set in as he was still there an hour later, and a couple of hours after that! It all felt a bit ‘shady’ tbh. Asked about the restaurant- madam we don’t have one at the moment? That’s not what the website said. A bar? - madam we don’t have one of them either! Seriously- false advertising. Went to the room and very basic double bed, decor not great but looked clean- I had ordered a twin as with my granddaughter! Went back to reception, old guy still curled up in the corner! Receptionist found a room which had two beds. Rather tatty, shower curtain didn’t fit the shower stall so water just poured out onto the floor! Couldn’t regulate the water- either took your skin off or froze! TV didn’t work. Oh yes camera in the lift with marker pen scribbling out the camera lense! Jesus help us. Lol This morning- old guy in the corner I think was the security guard! Lol 😂 It dawned on me this morning when leaving the hotel that it actually houses homeless people, which isn’t an issue as people need to live somewhere but you should be told this when booking. That’s not being snobby its about choice! This definitely is not a 3 star hotel False advertising and thoroughly disappointing and would not stay here again- sorry 😔

Sadly this cafe did not reopen after Covid. A lot of people used to meet up there and there is no similar venue within a mile.

Disgusting muck; avoid avoid avoid; after managing to eat three slices I left the rest in the fridge overnight; the fridge smelled like rotting flesh in the morning. If I could give it minus points I would. Horrific.

It is absolutely unbelievable the people that work in here.... 14 mins explaining that I wanted 2 drinks and told I can't buy 2 drinks. What is wrong with them? Honestly, I've never been so angry in all my life. 8 staff members and not one has a clue what's going on! I'm that angry, I'm writing this before I've even been given my food!

Visited on my own, seems to be a seat yourself system and after asking a member of staff discovered that it’s order at bar or with app. Lots of the tables were dirty but sat down anyway thinking it would be cleaned at some point. Visited by various staff members but they didn’t think to clean it. MSN next to me went to the bar to collect blue toll and cleaned his own table. Ordered a toastie and an Aperol spritz, noting that the app estimated that food would take 30mins which was fine with me. The food arrived in 10 minutes and didn’t look great, not even bothered to cut in half and the side salad was basically just a garnish. My drink did not arrive before the food so I asked for it and it was brought. I asked asked for some more salad which was kindly provided. The toastie itself was very dry, especially considering it contained béchamel, cheese and aioli. Mayo would have helped but I wasn’t asked if I’d like any sauces and no one checked how the food was. The bill was £25 for a toastie and a aperol spritz, including tip which is terrible value. The whole place had a CBA attitude to food and service, re training potentially required to improve food and service quality. Would not visit again until improvements are made.

I’m vegan and ordered the Chocolate Custard donut, one of the few vegan ones, along with a different one for my daughter. We planned to eat them on the plane. Unfortunately for me, they had put a Chocolate Dreamcake in my bag, which isn’t vegan, and as we were about to land in Majorca, it was my daughter’s gain. Very annoying and a very expensive waste.

Food is always stone cold, have given this place plenty of chances but I wouls avoid both greggs in the town centre indefinitely. It's really not that hard to have hot food.

Overall the food was alright. We had the platter for 5 people. Came with different grills. Wasn’t too impressed with food. Staff were friendly. Overall had a great night with friends and food was ok.

Ordered pizzas from this branch. Took 4 phone calls and 1 1/2 hours for delivery. Everything was cold! Yet according to the lady I talked to, it wasn't their fault! Who was she kidding? Age needs to have a lesson in customer service. Definitely never going to order from them.

Absolutely rubbish food and rude manager. Do not waste your money here. Burgers are grisly, hard and not worth £9. Disappointed.

Totally disappointing experience. As all reviews speak for itself, the staff were very unfriendly and non-interactive. They just respond upon asking question, that too with incomplete details. I asked in first place if it’s a bubble tea shop to which they confirmed “Yes”. Upon ordering a coffee based bubble drink, I was recommended caramel by staff. During packaging, when I confirmed on the bubbles, I received a reply saying that they are running out of pearls 😂. Later, when I saw the garnishing, they even ran out of caramel syrup. I was left wondering why I paid for the basic caramel coffee a price of £4.20 which I could easily make at home. Worst thing a shop can do is run out of their key ingredients- “the pearls”. My suggestion is the team should consider levelling-up to sustain in the business honestly 😊

Pop in for lunch rice and stewed chicken lovely friendly staff food was lovely will go again soon prices good
