The best restaurants in Westborough Southend-on-Sea East of England

This place is an amazing find! Spent my birthday meal here based on a recommendation and it did not dissapoint! All of us had a great time, every dish was superb and the cocktails went down a treat! The chefs do an amazing job! 👍🏼 The place is very small, but has a very cosy/intimate atmosphere. The staff are super friendly too and really add to the experience! Would highly recommend visiting if in the area!

Staff are very friendly, always served quickly. I can easily say they have the best coffee locally. I only stop by for takeaway coffees, they are delicious, perfectly made every time and fairly priced. Also to note, perfect place to bring kids, they have a small kids play area.

Friendly staff and good quality food

It was a little cold in there, they have some delicious dishes and their roti were something else, so light, crispy and perfection. The beef that we had was so tender and flavoursome, apart from the wonton soup which was a little bland.

Visited for brunch; due to the eye watering prices only had coffee and left. Decor is quirky and ambience is nice but seriously, it’s cheaper to eat brunch at The Ivy. I fail to see how £16.50 can be justified for a chicken/avo wrap unless it’s actually garnished with gold leaf and mermaid’s tears. Coffee was decent, but found good food nearby at half the price.

Been many times and the food is always the same , superb . Always consistent , very good value can’t wait to return to have something else from the menu . So nice to have a good restaurant in the town that cares and produces reliable healthy and tasty food .

Fantastic food and excellent service

Just had Christmas dinner here. We chose the salmon delight which was absolutely amazing. The sauce was incredible and eating here is just a fabulous experience. Everyone is really attentive, but without rushing you. It's no wonder it is such a popular restaurant.

Great welcome, plenty of well cooked food and fantastic value. We were in a large group and the fryers managed to serve us all at once and it was cooked to perfection. There was plenty to eat and drink and service was spot on. We will be back.

Poor service on entrance, noticed the smell of B.O coming from the waiter. Also menu was incompetent. Drinks were insufficient. Chips were Chinese chips and rice was not Turkish. Over all I would not come back here still having flash backs of that smelly waiter. Omfg, defo doesn’t deserve the amount of stars it’s got!

Lovely child friendly cafe making it easy to relax and enjoy lunch or a coffee and cake with your babies and children in tow. Service is friendly and welcoming and food is nice and very reasonably priced. I’ve been twice now since being on maternity leave and will definitely be visiting many more times
