We cannot thank Pete and his team enough for the lovely coffee and scones! Pete was the only cafe in town who responded to a request for a "thank you" tea for our volunteers. He went above and beyond in providing the tastiest scones in such a lovely setting. The staff looked after us so well and we will all be coming back for more! Thank you!

Wow. This place was such an amazing find on our Xmas shopping day in Bury. Cosy cafe with just 4 tables inside and 2 outside. Beautiful food. The couple welcome you as soon as you walk in. We had a vegetarian meze. A falafel wrap. Taramasalata and bread. All delicious and well presented. If you visit during December, you will see their Xmas window display. You can't help but chuckle. Good value too.

A great end to the night with my partner. The small plates and boards were absolutely delicious and just the right size for us both. We were checked in on and looked after incredibly well. My partner Ryan asked for recommendations based on the type of wine he enjoyed and was given three options that he loved. The general vibe was very cosy and relaxed and we were offered the chance to move from the high tables to the sofa area once any were free, although we were very happy where we were!

Small but beautifully formed. Eclectic playlist and friendly atmosphere for a chilled girls evening out. Good choice of drinks and delicious mocktail for the driver. Definitely be back.

Great bottomless brunch with super service. Would highly recommend. I have been on many bottomless brunches in and around the Bury area and this is by far the best service you will get.

Great staff who are very knowledgeable and engaging. Amazing selection of games, and banging tunes to top it off. Well worth coming along to one of the many evening events, just need to turn up early to ensure a spot!

I don't do reviews, but the whole experience here was amazing. Every level from the food, the ambience, the staff. Was perfect, I went for my 53rd birthday and I've never been treated so well in a restaurant. Wish I lived local because I'd keep going back. Will visit Bury St Edmunds again and will eat here. Thank you.

Midsummer House quality at half the price. This is serious cooking with every aspect of the dining experience taken into account. Imaginative wine pairing, excellent and friendly staff and a great setting. Hard to fault, so I won't bother 👍

I was invited by a dear friend to Maison Bleue, for my 81st birthday. From start to finish the experience was pure class. The restaurant has a wonderfull calm atmosphere, a warm welcome, stylish service and comfortable seating not jammed to together, plenty of space. I was given a glass of champagne on my arrival, and the same for my friend who arrived a little later. The Amuse Bouche, was a great taste treat, we ordered a carafe of Pinot Noir and another of Sauvignon Blanc. As it happened we both had the beef tartare, very tasty and one of the finest I've had in ages. No surprise then, that we both ordered the Trout, with delicious potatoes and tiny carrots. No surprise then that once again we both ordered the creme brulee. with that extra little touch of taste added . With of course, ,yet another glass of champagne to have with the petit fours. The cheese board sounded delicious, we were full and sated by then, didn't even have room for coffee. Maison Bleue is one of our great restaurants in Bury St Edmunds, well known as the foodie capital of East Anglia.

Discovered this little gem of a cafe after pilgrims kitchen at the cathedral was closed. Coffee followed by lunch with old school friends was a great experience. Food was good and reasonably priced, lovely coffee and great service. It was warm and a lovely atmosphere. We all agreed we would be back for our next meet up in March.
