Have seen nothing but amazing reviews, but I think you need to pick your moment. We ordered about an hour before closing on a Saturday (they close Sun/Mon/Tue) and the chicken had obviously been cooked earlier and hot-held so they could get a jumpstart on cleaning the kitchen. Meat was dry, breading soft and the wings had been sitting in their own oil for long enough that one whole half of them was pretty inedible. Fries and shakes were great, but not what I was expecting from the rest.

A pre Christmas mini break in Bury St Edmunds sent us in search for some places to eat. Our first evening spent at the renowned Mowgli was fun but little did we know what else was on offer in an unassuming little Thai restaurant in the heart of the City. From the kindness on the phone, as they squeezed us in at late notice, to the warmest of welcomes and then the food….absolutely delicious. Pom and her team are doing a fantastic job and the whole experience gave us renewed hope for dining out, in and around where we live. If you like Thai food do go and eat here, you will love everything about it. We are already planning zipping to Zap in 2025.

Amazing food and desserts. Also a little kids play area.

Not a bad charity shop overall, plenty of stock, wheelchair accessible and some classic/vintage crockery towards the back. The only downside is the pricing, quite a few items are up for sale that are sometimes double the price than they are normally. For example their second hand dvds, which they sell at £2 each, CEX you can buy the same thing for £1 and other charity shops usually 3 for £1 or 5 for £1. If you want your store to put more money through the till you need to make the products that are donated to you more accessible to the people that want to support the charity.

Room looks magnificent, bed comfortable. But there's no water in the bathroom, hot or cold, there's no answer on the telephone when you call to ask them to sort it out, and there's no response to email. So disappointed that I can hardly begin to put it into words. No idea where I can go for a shower before attending a funeral this afternoon.

Very poor, where to start. slow service waitresses with lack of experience, had to chase up coffees and then had to get someone's attention to order more drinks. Builders breakfast basic and lukewarm at best serviced on a plate and then a bowl? This would be easier both to serve and to eat on a plate, the waitress nearly dropped it on the table as it was heavy. No management figure present with no attention to detail. With so many options in Bury S Edmunds I will not be returning, reading other comments I don't think this place is very popular it seems. My advise spend your money elsewhere

Love this small part of Greece in Bury st Edmunds, great food (and Greek coffee and baklava), drinks (including the best espresso martinis), ambience, deli and service (friendly and attentive). Takes me back to the Sporades Islands and the pine covered island of Skopelos. Would highly recommend this little independent restaurant xx
