The best restaurants in Leiston Suffolk Coastal East of England

We stopped today for dinner. Despite it being busy, a table was found for my group. I went for the large carvery and wow! They had beef, pork, turkey and gammon available (and I tried them all!) And it was all cooked beautifully. The portion ws absolutely huge considering it was only £15. The service was immediate and very friendly. Beautiful village pub with very friendly staff, really nice beer (especially the mulled ale!), and great quality food.

Fantastic pizzas. Great staff. Was given a time of 1 1/2 hours wait as they were really really busy but the pizzas were actually ready 50 minutes earlier then stated. Couldnt fault in any way. Definitely recommend !! Thankyou !! 😊

The food from here is great.really well cooked and tasted great.they do takeaway and you can also eat in.you are made to feel welcome when you go in and carries on through out your visit.well worth a visit.

Five family members we always come here for our Birthday treat of the Saturday evening carvery it’s just like you would have at home but better . We often see the same people returning each time which tells you how lovely it is x

Brilliant - Great location and good hearty food. Enjoy a trip out to the beach and one of the best jacket potatoes you can find. Endorsed by a friend over from Switzerland. Thank you, you never let us down

Excellent breakfast with toast. Also had coffee with cake. Bright and very clean cafe. Will come back. Staff are friendly

I’d have done 5 stars but the baked beans were from a can - they’re sooooo easy to make in the slow cooker! And potato would be better if not simply microwaved. That said it has seating and the drink selection seems very good. The healthiest place to eat in Leiston that’s for sure!! I’d recommend trying it.

Excellent food and the staff are so welcoming. We ate definitely a regular visitor. Always had lovely food and at a very good price.

First Chinese takeaway I've tried since moving to Leiston. Really tasty food, fresh, hot and served with a smile! I'd definitely order from here again 👌

Probably one of the best Chinese we have ever had. Was hot, tasted really fresh. All correct. What more can you ask for for a Saturday evening treat. To be able to pay with a card. Having to go to the cash point first was abit annoying to be honest, would make us re consider in the future how much we wanted a lovely tasty Chinese.

Great fish and chips but serve by less passionate people

Over an hour late and cold ordered large chips got a small and medium fish

Awful food. ordered beef, green peppers in black bean sauce. Beef was tough and chewy, rice and chips were a very small portion. I only went here because taste of china (around the corner) was closed, and that’s amazing also cheaper! Wont be going back unfortunately.

Truly lovely coffee and cake... a beautiful location just wish it was local to us, but worth a treat every once in a while.
