The best restaurants in Pier Tendring East of England

Since reopening and new ownership this place is so much better. Pie is yummy and staff are great :) I would say Tendering now have a good place to go for a decent pie and mash meal! They also do salt beef bagels (Although too expensive @ £7.50 they are delicious) A Must try if you are in clacton!

I absolutely adore jacos food is great lovely cup of tea the atmosphere is amazing every one talks to you the staff are so friendly and polite they should be proud of themselves I go in 2 to 3 times a week lovely place x

Came across this place on my journey I stopped for a coffee and when I entered I saw a halal sign so I ended up eating there too , food was really nice and fresh portion was really good especially for the price , service was amazing all the customers that’s were there were so nice and relaxed too , very clean and tidy too can not fault this place at all I will definitely stop there again when I come to or through clacton . 10 out of 10 for everything 🥰

Disgusting. No customers in today and I now know why. Customer service non existent. Dirty tables. Avoid like the plague. Walk a bit further and go to Flags best beach cafe in Clacton

A group of girls out celebrating a birthday, we decided to stop here for 1 drink & stayed the whole night! Really lovely venue, friendly staff, great dj, lovely cocktails & not expensive. A restaurant by day & a bar by night, on a Saturday, will definitely be back for drinks but will also come back for food, just what Clacton seafront needs Xx

So i swear hands down the double beef burger was like meaty and nice bap. You get loads off fries to. Nice and hot. Nice friendly staff and after that i went to 4 diffrent pubs to get some nice beers to wash it all down with….lols…

Popped in for drinks and cake on a bright and chilly afternoon. Haven’t been a cafe in Clacton for probably over 20 years; was very impressed with this place! Kind, friendly and welcoming staff, lovely cakes and good coffee too. Couldn’t believe the reasonable prices either. Clacton needs more places like this one. Can highly recommend.

lovely food good old fashion pie mash liquor,shepherds pie,delicious homemade cooked food, kids meals available and wheelchair friendly.very clean, plenty seating a must to visit.

Absolutely amazing food! Went here with my partner, our children and my mum. Unfortunately some of the food e ordered wasn't available, but what we had was delicious. Great portion size and good price. Our daughter ate from the kids menu and said the food was worth 1000 stars, and tasted better then burger king and kfc! She's a very fussy eater so that's a big compliment! We're from London, but will definitely be back to enjoy the lovely food at Soul Food again.

I've been going into roll models since it opened all the staff are lovely. The portions are very big. Very family friendly my kids love it. Under cover chips are amazing!!

Had a great evening for a belated Xmas meal with the ladies darts committee. Staff were amazing, friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Massive thank you to Sophie for a great evening x
