Such a great service, the barista had such empathy when I was struggling with the cintactless payment today.i am 72 years old. She was so kind and supportive, if I could give her a commendation I would. I was embarrassed but she made it easy for me.

I ordered s donor kebab with extra chillies and extra cabbage. I got no cabbage, salad or chillies in my kebab and 1 small pot of salad!!!!! That’s not extra, that’s what I should had on my kebab. I phoned to complain and they told me a donor kebab doesn’t come with any salad!!!! First time I’ve ever ordered a donor and not had salad as a given. Disgusting service. 🤬

I really wanted to love this place. I have recently moved to the area and had hoped it would be my go to for coffee/brunch. Sadly I was disappointed. We waited 30 mins to get a coffee on the table. I appreciate it was a busy time and a wait for the food is understandable but please review your ordering process so you at least get your coffee within 5/10 mins. Food arrived shortly afterwards which was very nice. A member of staff did her best to placate us with a few free bits and pieces which was appreciated (no doubt as to not get a bad review). I came away very disappointed but think I will give Sparrows one more chance.

The most amazing Starbucks I’ve ever been too, the location is lovely and the store itself has so much character to it, my drink was made perfect by the friendly and helpful staff! The lady helped me pick out a coffee and she was so knowledgeable about coffee, it was so nice to actually talk to someone who not only knows everything about what they are selling but so passionate too! The store was clean and tidy, couldn’t fault it! I really enjoyed my coffee and reading my book here, made me feel like I was sitting at home! Will definitely be back when I’m in Saffron Walden next!

LEON was super busy, but it was easy to order from the electronic kiosk, my food took 3 minutes to come, and the guy at the counter stopped to wish me an enjoyable meal. And.... I got the new"Hot Honey GFC gluten-free chicken nuggets". At £7.99 out was an ok price, and... it was fresh, hot, spicy(!) and delicious. A great meal and overall experience. Probably my third meal at LEON, and a dining must for me in UK airports. Thanks guys.

Recently visited here as a coach driver only to be told this outlet does not take coach driver vouchers - avoid

We arrived to find that the staff appeared to be overwhelmed, so I walked through to the main pub, where I asked the other staff if we could order tea and cake. Once the staff arrived we were swiftly given the cake options, and asked for tea for two and a soft drink. We had to wait for about 15 mins for our drinks, after the cake had already been deposited on our table. It took several prompts, to be told that they had a rush on, and they were waiting for drinks. The actual cake was very tasty, but the occasion would have been so much 8mproved if the drinks had arrived at the same time..

Man refused to take my order. Kept saying he couldn’t understand me. Asked for the same thing I always get. Not sure what the point is of hiring staff that don’t speak English? I’ve a perfectly standard RP British accent. Not exactly difficult to understand. Never been treated so disrespectfully. What an awful man.

Floor filthy tables and chairs worn out split and dirty....needs a good clean! Wouldn't recommend how hard is it to sweep floor for customers

Unfortunately what I assumed to be a manager of the place came out from the back talking really rudely to the servers in front of all the customers, put a real damper on the atmosphere! Great to see how the servers stayed professional and untouched by the gross acting manager! Beautiful ❤️

In need of a place to rest my head and grab a meal for one night whilst attending a local sporting event (long story) I alighted upon this place and I'm so glad I did. After a warm and personal welcome I settled in to do some work and ended up having a superb night. The food was top class, the wine selection short but spot-on and the hospitality from the bar staff (you know who you are!) outstanding. The locals were hugely welcoming too, and I'd have no hesitation in returning.
