Stopped here with family for a coffee, very friendly and welcoming staff, highly recommended I will be visiting again!

Have had fish n chips a few times from this place and they have been great but today’s was awful. I placed my order over the phone to be collected at 5.45pm. Got there on time and it was extremely busy and was told i had to join the back of the queue to give my name and wait for my order, even though i had ordered it in advance. Half an hour later i was served, then had a 10 min wait for my order. Fish was very dry and the batter was soft as it had obviously been hanging around for 1/2 hour whilst i had to queue up, What is the point of ordering in advance if you still have to wait as long as someone who has just walked in and the food was obviously ready at 5.45 but i didnt get it until 6.15. They need to review their process

The menu looks good. However, my partner and I were very disappointed with the quality of the food served. Yes I know it’s not a restaurant but if you are charging £13 for a Croissant with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese (more expensive than the Harrods caviar, salmon gold croissant) , please atleast serve it all fresh!! Never had a chocolate milkshake so bad. I had the Ragu burger meal, (not worth adding the cheese for £1), as it weren’t melted. I also believe my burger bun was microwaved as I couldn’t cut though it so I left that along with the dry ‘ragu’ meats and a few other things. Even the ketchup for the chips had no taste. I 100% have no problem with how much I get charged as long the food is atleast good. This was awfully bad and poor value for money, so disappointing. A piece of advice for the cafe, maybe minimise the menu or stick to just selling cakes because those look good in there. We are not returning unfortunately.

It’s over 4 years I order from India Gate and it’s always great! I always get my food delivered or I collect I’ve actually never sat down but I always see the place very busy. The vegetarian food is amazing, the food always arrive piping hot and I can pay by card at the delivery I love it. My favorite take away in beccles!

This is a regular destination for us. Once a month we collect about 15 meals for the workforce. The fish is good quality, the chips are a good potato variety and all cooked to perfection. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Absolutely awful! My grandfather was gutted as apparently this palce used to be amazing. Now is dirty, rude woman (I presume owner) who was more interested in the rude rowdy group of lads outside making them comfortable than those who were ready to spend properly. We went somewhere else. As the Aboard at bottom of road said food. They don't do food. Yet a board said otherwise. But the group of lads out front where a joke. So rude and loud. Feel so sorry for those who live near. 😞 as we came back past to head to our air bnb later that night few police cars outside. Which we weren't surprised about as just a really gross place. Which is so sad as grand parents said it used to be amazing few years ago.

I really love superfry and drive 30mins there to get my food but recently it’s gotten so salty which is such a shame as like I say the food is normally great!

Ordered a standard chicken balls, chow mein and chips, and have to say, it was all pretty tasty. My only complaint is, like virtually every Chinese takeaway, you're compelled to buy more than enough to eat, if you want a little variation. Would order from here again, but definitely go for less, unless ordering for two. In which case, the portion sizes were ideal.
