The best restaurants in Camden London

We booked Lore of the Land for a Sunday roast to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. When we arrived, we were seated quickly but at a table that would have struggled to have held two dinner plates, it was too small and when I noticed another couple leaving, I asked to switch tables, which the waitress was happy to accommodate. We both ordered the meat combo and the food was delicious - could not fault it at all. The service was a bit mixed, the waitress that seated us was super friendly, the waitress that took our order seemed a bit unsure of herself and I would assume she might be new. The man who I assumed was the manager however gave us the impression that he was doing us a favour just by being there. He came to ask how our food was and when I smiled and said it was amazing he didn’t react, just nodded and walked off. However it was when we asked for the bill that I really took exception - the bill came, he then appeared with a card machine and said “so how are we going to sort this” - I said we would be paying Apple Pay - he then pointed the machine at me, I tapped and he walked off without so much of a thank you or acknowledgement - not impressed and incredibly rude. Overall, I would definitely recommend for the food, but I had expected far more from the service than what we received.

Nunca había comido coreano antes y vi esta pequeña delicia en el camino para visitar el Museo Británico. Acaba de llegar al final de su sesión de la mañana, se toman un descanso de 3 a 5. Solo hay una docena de asientos y estaba casi lleno, pero me agarré a una mesa compartida. Aconsejado por un compañero cliente eligió bibimbap. Estaba delicioso y pude ver al tipo preparándolo. Dice que es de gestión familiar y eso fue tan evidente cuando me di la vuelta y perdí la mitad de mi comida. No hay problema, me dieron otro tazón y rápidamente limpiaron el desastre. Fueron encantadores al respecto.

Well, this is a very unique place with several cheese, meat, and a couple of sandwich options. My loves cheese (who doesn't?) and enjoyed a glass of wine there also. This was definitely one of our favorite places to eat while in England. We even joked about opening one up where we live in Kansas!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience, everything was missing, fork, dishes, drinks took a long time to be served, they took a long time to serve the food, they made a mistake on the point, we asked about the manager, he did not come to talk to us! And he told me that he was new! I've been to other restaurants in the company, I never imagined I would have this service here! Not being able to eat all the meat because it was so horrible! It is frustrating for you to leave a hungry and poorly attended place.

We had booked a table for 8 of us at 5.30 on a Friday evening after work. We arrived around 5.45 to find that all of the lights were off. We told them we had a booking and the member of staff told us they were closed.After some negotiation the lights were turned on and we were seated. A short while later the waiter came back and told us he had spoken to his manager and they were closed. We asked how long until they would open, would it be 1 hour, 2 hours? He said that he didn't know and it was up to his manager. He then suggested we leave and told us there is a similar restaurant down the road. Never before have I had a restaurant recommend we go to a competitor. This caused one of our party to cry, and he only stopped when we promised to buy him a balloon (he's not a child, he just really loves balloons).We walked back past Da Beppe (the same one that was closed) around 10 minutes later to find the staff member serving wine to a table. We were obviously confused so asked why the restaurant was now open when we were only just told it was closed. We were then invited back inside but fearing for our safety, we declined.We then went to Zizzi's by Goodge Street station. If you are looking for a restaurant that is open and serves authentic Italian food justa like mama used to make, I recommend you go there. 4.2 stars.

So happy to have found this gem of a restaurant. The menu is absolutely fantastic, as is a the food and service. It’s literally a place vegans, vegetarian’s and gluten intolerant people have been wishing for! However I took my carnivore family with the 2nd time around and they thought it was just as fabulous as I did! My 9 year old loved the Margarita pizza. The vegetarian cheese burger, (or vegan option with smoked vegan cheese), is to live longer for… I’m so glad my daughter moved to the area, now I can slowly get through the whole delicious menu at every visit!

Deux Amis es un lugar precioso con un ambiente realmente encantador, acogedor y comunitario, y deliciosos pasteles y bollería. Mi café absolutamente favorito.

Porciones muy pequeñas, lo que esperarías darle a un niño. Ambos platos extremadamente salados, mi invitado solo pudo comer la mitad. Sobreprecio, si estoy pagando £ 14. 00 y £ 16. 00 para pasta me gustaría una porción para adultos. El camarero tenía una mala actitud. Una vez que se dio cuenta de que no estábamos recibiendo ningún entrante, su entusiasmo falso cayó dejando una incómoda torpeza. No volveremos y definitivamente no recomiendo.

Great pub to meet up at with a group of friends and have a good value informal meal. Beer is good, engaging staff and no piped music. Smart all wood interior with authentic feel.

Terrible atención al cliente. A nuestros niños pequeños no se les permitió traer un bocadillo al aire libre mientras comíamos fuera de las comidas y pedimos todo lo demás de ellos

Wonderful place. Brilliant atmosphere, afternoon tea and drinks amazing. I would recommend other people to come. I would say please come. Staff are very friendly as well

Un encantador café agradable que sirve comida vegana y vegetariana. Había especiado berenjena con cuscús de limón y una ensalada de remolacha y naranja por £ 8. 50 . Recién cocinado y lleno de sabor. Sientes que te estás haciendo bien comiendo aquí. Aquí también hay una librería cuáquera y todo es parte de la sede de Friends House de los cuáqueros. Para que puedas recoger algo de alimento espiritual mientras estás aquí también. Muy recomendable.

Came here for breakfast for my birthday and it was worth our time! We did have to queue for a while but that’s not surprising considering how close it is to St Pancras. We agreed to sit outside and whilst it was freezing, there were heaters that helped with that The staff were lovely and took our order quickly The hot chocolate was amazing and the eggs Benedict was delicious, no complaints at all!

The Pork dumplings, spring rolls, spare ribs,and noodle dishes can all be found on your run of the mill Chinese takeaway menu , however I can assure you this Xian restaurant has elevated all its dishes to another level.
