The best restaurants in Southall Broadway Ealing London

They have lost their taste. Its not worthy for the food they charge. Very expensive. They make us wait for 20 minutes for chapli kebab and then 30 an hour for a baby chicken karahai which was £27 and in their menue they didn’t mentioned.

This was an awful experience. From when we sat at the Kenton restaurant, immediately after sitting then the lady called Anjali came to take our order with not letting us have a moment to even look at the menu. Then when we wanted to order she was not even around and took ages just to order. We ordered garlic naan and received chilly naan. This kept continuing when we asked for no onions in the ravi dosa and had to get the dosa rectified 3 times when they made the same error twice of adding the onions. The masala potatoes had no flavour and was honestly quite a bad experience. Would not recommend

MR BHOOPATHI done fabulous service on our table and we been glad to hv served by him 5 of us had ordered dosa s ,flooda ,chai,and desert We are regular clients

I ordered the choco crepe. It was really chocolaty which is nice but i would have liked to seen the crepe lol a bit messy but tasted fresh

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL Had my drink snatched from my hand and told I was not welcome, very much a local place or you may be hit in the head. Very scary place, moved here from Lancashire and was trying to make friend.

Absolutely ridiculous food comes with sauce no sauce sent. When called was told they are not on uber eats. Disappointed and will not be ordering again.

Zero friendliness, bartender couldn't care less

I’ve visited this place a number of times. The first time I went, I noticed the staff are all Goans, so I was nervous ordering Punjabi paranthas. But they definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff are polite, not overly welcoming but always polite. Service is speedy. Their sweets/mithai is always fresh and sometimes I only go to get mithai. I have also taken my own hot case to get the paranthas packed in and they’re always accommodating. I don’t like chai there and chaat is okay but you can’t go wrong with paranthas.

Rita’s, formerly known as Rita’s Chilli Chaat Corner, has been the go-to place for Indian snacks and street food since years for anyone visiting London. Many competitors came later but Rita has been ever popular. Sadly as many other reviews point out, they are losing it quickly. Located at Southall Broadway, renovations were going when I visited. The most disappointing factor which may question a customer to return is the staff attitude. As many have pointed out, they show no interest while taking orders. I told them that I would love to order dessert and chai after my food, but the server plainly left my table without any reply. They have a very extensive menu comprising street food, snacks and lunch items. I ordered their Mix Pani Puri and Amritsari Fish. Their mix pani puri is an eye catching rendition of the popular street food, served with different colors and flavors. This time I found it lacked freshness and sauces which are heart of pani puri tasted neither sweet nor sour as they should. They sort of ruined their famous menu item by cutting corners. Amritsari fish was a bit better but nothing extra special. It was fried well but the seasoning was off again on the batter. It’s abomination when you are at an Indian food place and under seasoning is your issue with the food, usually it’s quite the opposite. Indian street food is best known for spices, flavors and aggressive seasoning which do wonders for one’s palate. Their pricing is a bit higher than other snack food outlets around but with their reputation, I have no complain with that. I found them quite affordable. At the end, the server never arrived or showed interest to serve me tea or dessert, so I paid and left. Average food with sub-average service, nothing else to say. They are ruining their customer base.

My first visit was in Ramadan to get some food takeaway for iftar. I was given a free kheer. Itwasa nice and well appreciated gesture. The food is nice and very tasty. After Ramadan I took my business client with me and we had an enjoyable meal. Followed by a subsequent takeaway a week later. A good spot for takeaway too. Lovely chapli kebab. Nice staff. Could be full at some time so allow time in your parking. Ameer.

Really bad customer service person who was serving was so rude . He don’t know anything about customer service . The way he behaved I will never come back again

Excellent authentic Indian chaats and main course. Reasonable price clean place and good service. Shall go again soon.

Myself and my family went to Taste of Lahore (Southall). AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY I WOULD NEVER RECOMMENDED ANYONE GOING TO THIS PLACE. Firstly the chicken which we were about to eat was uncooked, which we gave back. And got it cooked. Secondly, the other dish we had was half cooked and other half not cooked, and at this point we paid and left. People if you want good quality food please go somewhere else, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!!!

Great food service and atmosphere and ambience. Food was fresh and well cooked. Very busy so book in advance otherwise be prepared to wait
