The best restaurants in Hackney London

Ordered two coffees and a brioche brisket bun. The coffee was nice (even though the flat white glasses aren't much bigger than a shot glass). Finished our coffees, still no food. Waited. And waited. And waited. I appreciate the cafe was busy but there was enough staff on to deal with the rush, however we could see the bun sitting in the panini press while they merrily chatted away while going about their business. Half an hour passed and I finally went to enquire as to where our food was, at which point it became clear that it had been forgotten about. The server touched it to make sure it was still warm and handed it over with no apology for the wait or offer of a refund or another coffee for the inconvenience. The lid of the bun had the consistency of a brick due it to being sat in the toaster for way longer than it should have been. It definitely didn't live up to the reviews we'd previously read.

Really friendly staff, felt properly welcome, in spite of being a trendy boozer the people behind the bar were proper humans. More of this please! Food was great too, I had some sort of vegan salad plate and want to go back for it again. Great pub

Its a cool spot and quite nice inside but Spent over £12 on two pints and they pulled out plastic cups for them? I thought the server may have thought we were sat outside which I would sort of get. When I asked if I could have glasses as we were sat inside I was told no... because it was busy? There was still seating available so it wasnt at all packed. Dissapointing really as there are so many other good pubs around here (The Adam+Eve and The Plough) which also have a better atmosphere and space. Will stick to going elsewhere.

Fuimos allí para el Sunday Brunch. La comida era estupenda, generosas porciones y muy sabrosa.

We visited end January for a quick lunch. It was really lovely. Sandwiches and coffee excellent and service perfect. Wish we lived nearer!

Great pub with a terrific restaurant upstairs. Every dish was good. Delicious noodles. Wantons, spicy cauliflower, miso pork salad, steak.

El café tiene una bonita combinación de colores, lindas pantallas de lámparas y divertidas luces de neón. Está en un encantador edificio antiguo. Mi amigo y yo pedimos panqueques, que tardó más de una hora en llegar. Después de unos 45/50 minutos recibimos una disculpa y una pequeña porción de mango lassi. El restaurante no estaba particularmente ocupado (aproximadamente 16 personas), así que no estoy seguro de por qué hubo tanta demora. La comida sabía bien una vez que finalmente llegó.

He estado varias veces en este bar de tapas y siempre lo disfruté por la comida y el ambiente muy informal. Ofrecen una buena selección de tapas. El servicio es muy informal y muy amigable. Tienen una buena (pero no barata) selección de vinos.

Vaya aquí para llevar cada mañana para un café para disfrutar en mi oficina. Saben lo que quiero cuando voy andando en y listo en menos de 3 minutos.El sabor es excepcional y no se me ocurre mejor café en cualquier lugar. . . Y soy un poco amante de estirado de café. Ahora me doy cuenta de que he tomado por sentado como el viernes hacía tarde para trabajar, así que en una tienda de practicado el café italiano más en mi ruta directa. Parecía totalmente nuevo con una carga de ostentación y bombillas colgando. El café era muy pobre y más caro el que LESD. Así que la lección del día es incluso si llega tarde al trabajo, incluso más tarde y tomar un café estupendo.Sigan con el buen trabajo chicos (y la señora italiana). !
