The best restaurants in Hackney London

Slightly tricky to locate, inside another building, but once you're in it's great. It's expensive but the food is very good. Great service too.

Been eating from here for over 25 years. No where else compares. Parking can be difficult but they now deliver. Yay

Moved into the neighbourhood recently and came across this place - absolutely amazing pizza with great portions, will definitely be back soon!

Romantic and good quality restaurant. I had the vegan set menu which I would recommend the artichoke specifically as a stand out dish. Additionally the picante cocktail was very nice. Good and friendly service.

Prices have rocketed over the years but you still get the same good tasting food however, I don't order or sit in to eat often due to that (cause that means I have to pay for the whole family which is pricey ;-0 )

We came for a quick kebab but decided to sit down and found the whole experience to be a pleasure. Food was super fast and amazing, staff are friendly, and service was terrific. Yilmaz was very attentive and accomodating.

Loved the food here! I had Eggs Benedict, and my friend had the Shakshouka, and both were delicious! I had a lovely mocha as a well, and really loved their mandarin and chocolate chip cake!

Great vibes and service, average food for the price honestly. We had the salmon platter and the lamb platter - salmon was very average, lamb was better. Both relatively small and leaves you hungry, which is not okay for the price. However, its quality food which I guess is hard for this city.

Had a pint at The Anchor & Hope in Clapton, and let me tell you, it was like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow… if that pot of gold was filled with perfectly chilled beer. 🍺 The atmosphere was so cosy, I half expected to see a hobbit pop out from behind the bar. The staff were friendlier than a golden retriever at a dog park, and the beer? Let’s just say it was smoother than my best dance moves after a couple of pints. If you’re in Clapton and not stopping by here, you’re doing it wrong. Cheers! 🍻

Came here with family to have coffee and the place is very busy i understand but it was filthy and had a smell. Asked the waitress to clean our table and she left dirt and hair. She basically just moved dirt around. I had to get some tissue and clean the table myself. The floor was filthy I felt sick.

If you don’t get a Maritozzi (cream bun), have you even been to FORNO? Everything else is top-notch too, don’t get me wrong, but those buns live rent free in my head. Great espresso too.
