Whisky Class with Moses was great! Would recommend to anyone who wants to taste some amazing beer and whisky! Very informative and lots of fun

Very good pub a couple of minutes walk from Old Street tube station. Four cask beers - and one cider - on handpump when I last visited including a winter ale. Outside seating on a roof terrace with umbrellas. Friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely fabulous good old home French cooking. Mussels incredible. Beef Bourg, Sea bass superb. The biggest Creme Brulee I've seen in a long time. Delicious, highly recommended..

Great coffee with milk alternatives and their brunch is amazing. It rotates weekly. Their huevos rancheros was the best I’ve had outside of California. The picture below is their corn fritters. Love this spot!

The food service or atmosphere isn’t hwy you go. You go cause it’s the old China. Odd, weird, fun, different and local.

En comparación con un restaurante de cadena grande o pub, el fish & chips sin duda estaban bien. Pero estos no eran lo que yo describiría como fish & chips tradicionales. Las patatas fritas eran claramente de un paquete, no tradicional, pelado y astillado en el sitio, chippy, patatas fritas y el pescado parecía y sabía como él también, no era fresco, rebozado en la tarifa del sitio.

Fuimos por una experiencia de clase magistral de cerveza. Esta experiencia duró 2 horas y fue conducida por Moisés, quien era extremadamente experto. Durante las 2 horas probamos 8 cervezas diferentes desde una lager hasta una stout ahumada. Esto fue seguido por una comida que fue más que adecuada. Toda la experiencia de principio a fin fue muy agradable. Volveremos desafiantemente a esta cervecería.

I’m too hungry to write well. But this is only the second time EVER that I have been to a restaurant that served our table NO FOOD. We arrived before 6pm and were shown to the basement - often not a good sign. We placed our order just after 6 and had to leave to get to the match by 7.20. There was no food by then. The poor waitress kept saying “five minutes” but was clearly getting nowhere. Of course it was down to really terrible management. And aggressive with it. Apparently we should have understood that it was a bit of a lottery whether any food would be served: the manager pointed proudly to two other tables where people had had to leave without getting any food at all. Clearly Gem was trying to profiteer off hungry fans and accepted every booking, even when the management must have known they were completely unable to serve everyone. I suppose it was a risk worth taking for the restaurant - just not for the customers. Gem by name but not by performance or attitude. Will buy some halloumi on the way home…
