The best restaurants in Islington London

The staff were great but the roast beef was so tough none of the family enjoyed it. The vegetables were brilliant such a shame the beef was so tough.

My mum and I visited Tonkotsu just before Christmas for a catch up dinner. We had a lovely meal, they were able to tailor the dishes for our dietary needs and all of the staff were absolutely lovely. In particular, Shama was so friendly, efficient and warm and was also happy to chat when the restaurant wasn’t busy. She’s great and such an asset to Tonkotsu

It was a pleasure enjoying this new cuisine, I am not a big fun of spicy food but the staff recommended me the best alternatives - The only bad thing was the cleanliness of the toilet

Found this Italian gem when looking for an early evening dinner in Islington. Cosy and comfortable we were made very welcome by the very friendly young man doing front of house. We were attracted by the fact that they make all their pasta and sauces fresh every morning and use organic ingredients. We shared a very generous starter of garlic butter prawns and toasted sourdough. We then both had smoked salmon carbonara. Food absolutely delicious and well-presented. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being cooked to order. Very reasonable prices for such fresh, good quality food especially in London. Very short walk from the Angel tube station. we would highly recommend.

Hace quince años usé este café cuando era estudiante. Ayer después de mucho tiempo que visité con mis nietas - puedo recomendar la cebolla y rodajas de tomate y mille feuille pasteles y té de menta. El servicio siempre es bueno y el personal agradable y la comida siempre sabrosa y de buena calidad

Tuvimos gozleme con feta/espinacas y también patata. El pan estaba muy fresco y sabroso. También tuvimos una mezcla de hermosas ensaladas que no eran goopey pero cargado con hierbas frescas. Para colmo tuvimos baklava, pistacho y chocolate. Absolutamente exquisito. Y todo servido por una pareja turca amigable. Nos juntamos a Archway mucho y volveremos aquí de nuevo.

Zeer leuke plek met vriendelijk personeel! Veel keuze uit ontbijt, brunch, lunch, koffie. We waren hier toevallig in de buurt voor een snelle hap. Fijne familiezaak!

Almost stumbled into this place (literally- it is down a flight of stairs). A great concept- almost a "pop-up cocktail bar". It has an excellent vibe- basement, good music, killer cocktails. Definitely bohemian feel. Excellent place for some serious intoxication.
