The best restaurants in Coldharbour Lambeth London

We visited over the weekend with the family and the waitress Bell was very rude, I asked three times to place an order and the food was great but by the time she delivered it was cold. Last time we visited it was fantastic so it shows how much a poor waitress can ruin the experience

Brixton Market se ve tan bonito y festivo, y Lee, propietario de Sarava Creperie, es tan cálido y acogedor como siempre. ¡Es tan alto que cuando nos abraza, desaparecemos totalmente en su abrazo! Hoy nos ha hecho un Ginger Fizz él mismo, y tan refrescante fue después del largo viaje a Brixton. Compartimos una Galette como siempre, y esta vez mi marido la eligió: El Huevo Ranchero. Relleno de Chorizo Español, Cebolla Roja, Guacamole, Frijoles Pintos, Chutney de Tomate, Jalapeños, Perejil, y cubierto con 2 huevos fritos para que hubiera uno para cada uno de nosotros después de dividir la Galette por la mitad. Marcas completas para el marido - esta es una súper - deliciosa Galette y va a ser nuestra elección siempre. Seguido de un Macchiato Doble para él y un Lee - chocolate caliente especial para mí. Me encanta cómo lo hace.

Increíble italiano en Brixton y con diferencia uno de los mejores restaurantes de la zona. El anfitrión era increíblemente amable, cálido y acogedor en Nochebuena. . cada plato era delicioso. Disfrutamos especialmente de los arancini y terminamos pidiendo uno de cada uno en el menú! Todo a un precio razonable. ¡Debes probar este restaurante!

¡GUAUU! ¡La comida, la compañía y el ambiente de Zoe en general me dejaron boquiabierto! Platos absolutamente detallados (pero no intimidantes), pequeños y grandes, bien pensados, creativos, de origen sostenible y deliciosos. Probé y aprendí sobre egusi (semillas de calabaza molidas), huevos de huerta (berenjenas redondas y dulces), frijoles bambara (como un garbanzo más carnoso) y muchos otros ingredientes. Los platos que probé tenían un buen nivel de picante (ajustable) que, para un malayo, es bastante clave. Memorable fueron los canapés de filete de tiras rellenos de plátano y mayonesa de cocodrilo, panza de cerdo glaseada y, de postre, chocolate blanco con panacotta de coco tostado encima de - OMG - nkatse con corteza de chocolate especiado. Otro comensal lo llamó "pastel de crack" y sí, ¡pedimos segundos y tercios! ¡MUY RECOMENDABLE! Echa un vistazo a los clubes de cena y entra en esa lista de espera lo antes posible.

Ser un día soleado ayudó ya que pudimos sentarnos en el pavimento. Excelente variedad de comida. Queríamos un desayuno cocinado y todas las comidas eran encantadoras. Personal amable y servicial. El gerente no toleraba mendigos para que pudiera comer en paz. Muy recomendable.

Una verdadera joya escondida donde la cocción es excelente y precisa. ¡Una maravillosa lista de reproducción también! El servicio es relajado pero informativo, los cócteles son maravillosos. Fue por el menú de 7 platos y cada plato tenía un puñetazo de sabores. Fuimos capaces de probar una serie de vinos antes de elegir y tbh la pasarela era muy bueno de hecho. Muy recomendable!

Menú súper interesante, ejecutado a la perfección y totalmente delicioso. . Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que una comida (y cenamos muy bien) era tan buena que no hablamos de otra cosa que la comida toda la noche! El servicio es excelente, atento, amable y el nivel perfecto de informal. . en absoluto relleno y francamente un ambiente agrietado!

Wow que lugar tan increíble para almorzar, la experiencia fue tan encantadora y la camarera fue muy atenta, las papas fritas donde súper deliciosas, definirtley volverán pronto. . . tal vez incluso mañana. No puedo esperar para probar más del menú. Gracias oso negro

My partner and I went for lunch, the waitress was pleasant enough and the lunch was ok but within hours being home the problems started and have not gone away - food poisoning,. actually my partner has it worse than me and is very poorly.

10 / 10 , limpio , servicio rápido, personal amable, buena comida : ) sin duda recomiendo darle una visita si estás en Brixton !

This place not only treats its employees badly but treats them like slaves. The "owners" of this restaurant do not give you schedules. They also call you at 3 to tell you that "you have to work at 5 on your day off." I signed a paper and the owner lost it (she told me). When I asked for my contract, she told me that she didn't have one and that is illegal. later she told me that she had but she never wanted to send me a copy of my contract to my email.When 4 days had passed and they hadn't paid me, I asked them and their answer was "welcome to 2020" and then they told me that I was the rude one, because I wrote "are you gonna pay me?" . I repeat it is money that I worked, I did not ask that they give me anything. She blcked me and I had to call many times to she awake a answer to me.They also fired me because the restaurant closed because London made another Lockdown, something that is illegal.In short, I would think twice about working for this type of person, because I know that I am not the only one who has had problems. They should learn how to treat people well and the owners should not yell at each other in front of the employees, it is a very bad image.think twice about working here please.

Parissi is my favourite spot in Brixton. No it's not the cheapest but *everything* is home made and top quality. The cakes and pastries, the lunchtime frittata and the salads are all amazing. Spiros the owner is always there, he works hard and he really cares even if he's not always the friendliest! The staff are lovely and it's just the best place to catch up with friends or linger with coffee and a book. It's cosy inside, with more tables out back in the hidden garden. A really special place.

We recently discovered this place was only round the corner from our house and we are annoyed it took us so long to try it. By far one of the best restaurants in Streatham and some of the best pizza in London. The pizza is so fresh and tasty and the Aperol spritz is better than most I had while travelling the Amalfi coast. Since finding we've been back almost every week.

The most beautiful little coffee shop. Service and coffee is always knockout. Always friendly, always efficient & their Co-working space is extremely well priced. Thank god we have these guys on our door step!

This was one of my favorite meals when recently visiting London. I have to eat gluten-free and after talking to the employees, ordered the Arepa Bun. The bun is made of corn flour, light not heavy The chicken was wonderful-the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Now that I’m back home, I’ve found a Venezuelan restaurant that serves a similar dish. Wish I could find this restaurant in the US.
