The best restaurants in Lambeth London

Delicious, everything delicious, affordable price, flavor to delight, we are from Mexico and we have really enjoyed the food at this place in London, you must try it!

To be fair, the food was amazing. I just had one dosh that can easily serve 3 people. My oppinion.. try the beans :) I have also tried green vine.. Not bad.. not bad at all. Home kooked food is always the best. Will go there again :)

The service is awful, very slow & the waiter served other tables that came in after us! The food was OK but for the price not worth it!

Such a great place to go for the local pub experience! The food was great and I’d highly recommend the wings and the sweet potato fries. Everyone on staff was super nice and gave great suggestions on what to eat a drink. A lovely selection of craft beers and big names to be had.

Went for a quick drink and food at this beautiful pub, i walked in and was greeted straight away, the manager Katie couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great experience and we had everything we needed. The food was on point, bar staff was great, would definitely come back.

This place is my go to place if I want to feel at home and eat a delicious pizza. Everyone is so kind and always smiley and if you’re running on a tight schedule, the service is super fast!

The commanding corner pub only a short walk from St. Matthews church in Brixton. Unfortunately, we were greeted with full-on football crowd when on arrival, but once the game was over and the rowdy intimidating clientele dissipated it became more bearable. Bizarrely they don't sell prosecco in large bottles, only expensive tiddly ones. The kitchen was broken or having a day off.

I give 4 stars because giving less makes me feel bad. However I doubt the pizza maker is Italian. I just got a pizza with smoked ham which as far as I am concerned is just a no go. English smoked ham on pizza doesn’t really work. I hope they revisit this

I came here for a birthday, had a great time and received excellent service.

El personal muy amable inmediatamente nos ofrecieron una copa y nos dieron nuestros menús. Poco después de la orden (a tan sólo 10 o 15 minutos!) nos obsequiaron con algunas increíblemente deliciosas hamburguesas. Buena música, bonito patio interior, comida excelente y personal: no se podía pedir más.

Really nice restaurant highlight recommend very good food and service

We visited over the weekend with the family and the waitress Bell was very rude, I asked three times to place an order and the food was great but by the time she delivered it was cold. Last time we visited it was fantastic so it shows how much a poor waitress can ruin the experience

Had a wonderful lunch here with my family. The Doost & Amici team could not have been more helpful and they went out of their way to cater to my family's dietary requirements. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back again soon. Thanks to all of you for a delicious meal and superb service!

First time ordering from this place. We ordered over Deliveroo and their service was quick and food was well packed. I had Doro, dulet, quanta firfir and kitfo. The dulet and kitfo were top! So delicious. The doro was also good! The only ones I didn’t enjoy as much as I wanted to was the quanta firfir (it had a bit watery/ soaked enjera fitfit taste and maybe needed more seasoning / berbere I think) it wasn’t my personal favourite and I don’t think I’d order it again. That’s not to take away from the rest and the generous portions. I’d recommend to try the rest, especially the kitfo and dulet! Edit: after ordering a few more times their food were almost always consistent so still deserves 5+ stars. I’d say whenever ordering tibs/ kitfo at any habesha / Ethiopian restaurant, they provide a dip-/ spice to dip your meat in and always ask them w my order when ordering online (I’ve done a few times/3+ times already) and it’s a hit and miss to get the dips. Would be nice if they always do as it’s common to have the meat w Ethiopian spicey/ chilli powder when having the tibs / kitfo.

Desayuno “salado” típico inglés. Local mesas pequeñas pero íbamos 8 personas y estuvimos bien. Atentos con los niños. El personal muy atento y amable. 10 libras por persona aproximadamente.
