The best restaurants in Stratford and New Town Newham London

Wow! I’ve been aware of roots for the last few months, as it has been very popular in East village with residents but today was the first time I was able to go with friends. I was not disappointed. We drank out way through most of the cocktail menu, each one was delcious and wonderful well presented. The tastes are great and the presentation (dry ice is a lovely touch) is amazing. The bit that makes Roots stand out is the great customer service. They were very attentive and the head bar man was more than keen to come over, talk us through the menu and advise what cocktails would best suit our palettes. There was plenty of staff around who were keen to help and serve. Overall we paid £50 each for 5 cocktails, which seems a lot if out of London but the service and choice makes this a London bargain! I could not recommend visiting enough, this bar will quickly rocket to the top of trip advisors list, so get in soon!

9 of us sat down for a steak meal. The staff were fantastic, and we all agreed it was probably the best steak each of us had had. The meat is cut and prepared once you order. It was our first visit, but it will not be our last. Highly recommended.

The Mini Feast was delicious! I ate every piece of onion left, so delicious with the leftover sauce with pepper, especially for dipping your fries! Prices are reasonable, good value 👍 Mayo and ketchup are standard flavor. You request your order by scanning QR code and ordering through the online site. Friendly and hard working staff! Thank you for ensuring the food was good!

My colleagues took me to here to celebrate my birthday, I was really impressed by the quality of food, the service and the atmosphere, definitely it's going be my go to place from now !!! Well done to the whole team there, A big thank you for making my night end so brilliantly. People you all need to come and eat here !!

The bread was freshly baked. The cherry Manhattan was sublime and I had some of the best cooked fish I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place, every time.

Great pub very friendly bar staff good to see a traditional old fashioned East End Pub. Refreshing and has a small car park to park your car reasonable rate

Un pequeño restaurante familiar tailandés frente al Travelodge en Stratford. Cuando fui de visita, había una serie de asiáticos comiendo, lo que suele ser una señal positiva. Grace was an amazing help today! She was so nice and attentive throughout the entire night. The food was also incredible. Great food, great service.
