Good friendly service. I liked the fact that I was given a jug of tap water rather than just a glass. Food was tasty. My order was slightly wrong. I would recommend. Hand sanitizer was on every table such a good idea before eating a sandwich. I will return. On returning recently and I was hugely disappointed. Different staff who were very friendly and attentive I had a tuna and cheese and mayo sandwich. It was boring. The bread was nothing special just normal, no side dressing and it wasn't a full sandwich. I was disappointed for the money. Not sure I will return

A proper pub with great beer and friendly staff

I have been here a number of times over the years but not since before COVID. I was visiting the garden centre across the road and came for lunch. I am delighted to say it is still great and reasonably priced. I had a cheese, onion and mushroom omelette served with a freshly prepped side salad for a very competitive £6.45. The quality of the food was excellent and my cappuccino was very nice too.

Food ok but it’s the second time they’ve tried it on by adding food and drink onto the bill, first time we gave them benefit of the doubt but second time alarm bells, won’t go again, shame…

We had a lovely takeaway from here, we’ve been back a few times. The chicken is lovely, the service is always good. Recommend

I love the unique chip shop-cum-off-licence concept here, which is what drew me in when I had a craving for some good old-fashioned chips. Stopped by for lunch and had to wait about ten minutes as my medium portion was cooked fresh to order. The chips came out piping hot, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and I gave them a generous splash of salt and vinegar—just the way I like it! While the quality of the chips was great, I was disappointed by the portion size. For the price, I expected a bit more, and I left feeling a bit short-changed. Nice place overall.
