The best restaurants in Peckham Southwark London

We honestly didn't know what to expect from a place we've walked passed several times in the past & always wondered what it was like so me & my friends finally decided to take the plunge yesterday evening and sample the fare on offer at the Tapas rooms in Peckham and I can honestly say as someone who has sampled tapas in and around Spain and beyond this is some of the finest tapas me and my guests have ever tasted. The manageress who served us helpfully explained all the dishes and ingredients to us & how every dish was freshly made from scratch & all the ingredients were sourced personally by the chef so we basically chose a couple of dishes each plus the chilled red wine which was a perfect accompaniment and comes highly recommended! We had the octopus which was incredibly tender, the hamon literally melted in the mouth, served with delicious bread and home made seasoned olive oil, the blue cheese and fig was also amazing,every dish that arrived on our table was excellent and the service was first class considering the place was busy and all the dishes are freshly made. The atmosphere and general ambience made for a memorable evening and we will definitely be back for more!

Someone working there is clearly not focused. I ordered a go large and a rio can drink. the drink the never came, the box was a small portion and was extremely cold. The rice was clumped together and felt like eating rocks. I’m usually of a fan of filishack but the fact there’s no contact information either for me to enquire about it shows that clearly it’s not a serious enough business. I’m really disappointed.

Mi hermana fue al Peckham pastel & mash en sentada 1 calle junio 2024 para llevar pasteles ella también me consiguió 2 lotes de anguilas jeiiied, debe decir que solo consiguió 5 pequeños trozos de anguila y el resto era jelley debe decir que no tenía sabor y por £ 4. 95 cada uno era un precio repugnante a pagar que deberían avergonzarse de ellos mismos. No soy vegetariana pero vine con amigas que lo son... me encantó! Restaurante increíble Comida informal pero deliciosa Vaya por el menú degustación (30 libras por persona). Vale la pena volver cuando estés en Beckham!

nice little cake shop offering rainbow cakes which are eggless. There are so many cakes so it is hard to decide which one to get.

Absolutely appalling! Order food through just-eat. Delivery took just under 2hrs, when food did come items were missing, food was cold and pots of sauces leaked where they did not ensure lids were secured.
