Cozy French bistro with excellent starters - French onion soup, cheese soufflé, beef tartar were all perfect! Only 4 stars as we found the mains lacking in flavour and not great value for money

I never write a review unless it is bad to warn others not to fall in the trap. I visit big Moe's in Ilford with my family after seeing the impressive decor from the outside. The decor looks amazing but sadly the food didn't match the interior. I ordered a big Moe's platter for two, but the portions of food was really small, and there's only one small pot of fries . This platter was meant to be for 2 people, but it looked like it could only feed 1 person. For £43 you also get a half chicken for that price. Complete rip off. After spending close to £90 for a family of 4 , we all left hungry. The chicken was tasteless and dry, and the burgers looked a lot better then they taste. Chicken burger was dry and hard. Well never go there again. Don't get fooled by the decor. To rub salt into the wound , they charged a 12% service charge on top.

La camarera rubia fue tan grosera. Pasé por delante de este restaurante pasado las 21:00 - ish y pidió una mesa como paseo - en la casualidad de que uno estaba disponible. Era como si hiciéramos la pregunta más ridícula. Se burlaba, estaba engreída por el hecho de que no teníamos uno. No crea la mejor impresión para esta sucursal. El personal está destinado a ser acogedor y educado, seguramente incluso si la respuesta es un no? No nos dirigiremos hacia allá.

This place used to prepare some of the best coffees in East London. Now they still sell some decent beans retail, but they do not appear to put much care in the coffees they prepare for immediate consumption. I went a couple of times and both times staff, while nice and friendly, did not appear to be properly trained for speciality coffee (if one wanted to put it rudely, one might say they did not have a clue).

From the moment I made contact with the fabulous, family run restaurant, I felt part of the family myself! The food is spot on but its the staff that make this place. We had a lovley evening meal and returned for breakfast the following day and again were not disappointed. The resturant is clean, spacious and has that little bit of individual charm. Thank you

Good burger and good service, the burger waa extremely juicy and tender. The servers were very sweet and kind. A very nice experience, would recommend.

Ambos perfectamente comestibles pero con albóndigas bastante ordinarias. Los fideos eran excelentes. Brochetas de setas sorprendentemente sabrosas y buenas. El personal es excelente. Me encantaría volver.

Me acerqué para tomar una copa rápida - 1 pinta de cruzcampo, más 1/2 cruzcampo que pedí en el bar junto con algunas aceitunas como aperitivo. Llevé la cerveza a mi mesa yo mismo, y las aceitunas fueron traídas por una camarera un par de minutos después. Al comprobar la factura más tarde me encontré con que me cobraron £ 19. 81 . Han comprobado sus precios; pinta de cruzcampo £ 7. 6 , 1 / 2 por lo tanto £ 3 . 8 , aceitunas £ 6 . Por lo tanto, parece que fui acusado 12. ¡Un 5 % de servicio para que entreguen un pequeño plato de aceitunas! Marvellous desserts. The cakes and cupcakes are splendid. The food is so good. The bakery/cafe is wonderful. Would recommend.

As a company rough trade are a joke. Sold a damaged record to my son and refuse to answer any emails, messages or calls on the matter.

Lovely staff all very helpful, and accommodating steak was amazing. Will come back. Server was sandijs.
