The best restaurants in Middlesbrough North East

This place is fantastic and such a breathe of fresh air for north east food. Finally a conscious eatery that doesn’t focus on typical unhealthy crowd pleasing foods that has dominated the north east forever. The dishes taste fantastic and nutritious with good portions. The service was friendly and authentic. They promote local community events (cacao ceremonies etc). What a great gem in Middlesbrough’s rapidly decaying crown.

Fully vegan menu. Delicious food. Friendly service. They were very understanding of someone with extra dietary requirements and they were happy to (having been asked and given notice) provide a special meal for me whilst my partner could choose from the menu. Both our meals were delicious. Would definitely go there again if we are in the area.

Absolutely beautiful cakes and the girls where fabulous will be visiting again soon not only do they make you feel very welcome I can’t wait for these to do my wedding cake next year .

An amazing local restaurant, we have visited a couple of times and took family this time. We ordered a sharing platter, which was outstanding with very generous portions. An excellent recommendation. The staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Our family was as impressed as we have always been.

Top quality Turkish food and impeccable service! We even got to sample some of the new menu which sounds great! You won’t be disappointed. 10/10 experience!

I wanted to say a huge thank you to Mark and his wife from Foodies for providing a fabulous hot food buffet for my partner and his aunts joint birthday party just before Christmas. From initial contact Mark was amazing with helping with concerns and every aspect of the service I have to say was excellent. Three of us went to Pie Jackers before a Boro home game. We were greeted by friendly staff. They offered a range of locally sourced home made pies with mash and mushy peas. Two of us had game pie - a special of the day and our friend had chicken. Excellent food and supplemented by some interesting local ales. Great value! We are certainly going back.

Can't help who comes through the door as some other idiot seems to think 🤔 My favourite place to go for a cuppa tea and a breakfast or a breakfast bun.

Absolutely incredible food! Seriously, this is about the fourth time we’ve ordered from here and it’s like it keeps getting better! Delivered quickly and red hot; tasty food, nice bit of a kick! Really cannot fault it! Would highly recommend!

Visited this cafe for a breakfast. I had full English with a cappuccino. All delicious especially the black pudding and sausage. My partner had a ham and cheese omelette with chips and homemade coleslaw and pot of tea. All lovely. Very impressed with the quality.

A local favourite. Lovely cakes/desserts served by friendly and efficient staff. I haven’t tried the breakfasts or lunch meals but they seem to be very popular.
