What a welcoming fabulous cafe, fantastic freshly prepared dishes and amazing cakes and sweet treats, everything thing homemade from locally sourced produce, friendly, professional service from the team. Doggy friendly on another level, our boy McDuff the crazy boxer didn’t want to leave! We will definitely return soon …I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF I COULD !

We travelled 40 miles to do a walk from Craster starting from The Piper's Pitch. We checked the evening before the opening times and that it would be open We planned on food there. Not open when we go there. Really disappointing. Spoke to staff in the Jolly Fisherman later and was told the opening is inconsistent .

FABULOUS quirky little place to eat 👌❤️ Lovely welcoming, friendly owners and staff. DELICIOUS food and a fabulous selection of freshly baked homemade scones and cakes made by the owners. Lots to choose from the menu & specials board. I had the delightful homemade Pea & Ham soup with a cheese and ham scone. Doggie friendly with doggie treats on offer. A lovely real fire lit added to our cosy afternoon lunch. I love my food and would recommend this place. Lots of places offer coffee and food but a great deal on offer unfortunately is bulkmade and very processed. So, if you are looking for a lovely homemade selection visit this place. We read reviews before going to Alnwick and restaurant sounded fab .. sadly Restaurant doing take away at present.so didnt sit in ..however it was honestly OUTSTANDING. NEVER tasted thai food so fresh it was my 50th and quite honestly it made my day....we got a takeaway and it was a meal we will never forget .This is a message to ANYONE who lives in or near Alnwick. If you want fresh... exceptional authentic tasting thai food packed with flavour and like to spend ure meals going..nom..nom..nom....out loud...this is the place for YOU.

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.

At first glance this place looked like a bustling cafe, with fresh cakes and a warm welcome, from great suggestions and fresh food this is the place to come in Hexham! I opted for a sausage and onion toastie with fries and a choccy milkshake whilst I was doing some work! Beautiful and very tasty! All the staff had big smiles, and time for each and every customer! Claire was especially helpful, making me a beautiful milkshake, and explaining what Rising Cafe is all about! All I can say is wow! Thank you so much and keep up the amazing work! It was lovely to spend an hour somewhere that was so full of laughter and good vibes! I will be back!

This is the third time visiting Dhamaka for a sit in meal and it did not disappoint yet again! We both tried different options to our usual and were both very impressed. The staff definitely know there stuff, recommending a dish for my husband based on his usual and he loved it. I had the Bengal butter chicken dish which is in Abduls special dishes and it was so full of flavour with just a hint of spice. Service yet again exceptional, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a lovely meal. We would 100% recommend!!

Great service and value and local produce in shop. 8 of us called in for a pre-walk coffee and cake/teacake. Although the place was busy, we were served swiftly and courteously. Definitely will revisit and recommend.

Before checking in we had a meal in the cafe. It was excellent. The ladies serving were friendly and very helpful. There was a hiccup at check in but very minor and was sorted without affecting our stay. The room was lovely and so warm. Breakfast was excellent served in the popular cafe. The b and b is near the Hareshaw Linn waterfalls and is well worth the walk there. A really enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend this b and b...thank you for a great stay.

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

A lovely location, sat outside in the sunshine with my dog, a pot of tea, cheese scone followed by a piece of carrot cake, absolutely delicious. Thank You, I can't wait to return

What a lovely cafe! We spent a week in Amble in January and had breakfast at 1911 three times. The staff were so very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and the coffee was excellent. We are not likely to be back in the Amble area for a while but I would highly recommend 1911 to other visitors and to any locals who have not yet discovered the place.

Restaurant Pine is quite remarkable in all departments; conviviality, hospitality, service, drinks, and food. The restaurant is unstuffy, and casually smart. The food is at the highest level, created from a hyper local process. Between the own grown and foraged ingredients, one would be hard pressed (as a diner) to have a meal of this calibre anywhere else in the UK. Their food balances artistry, culinary prowess, and a deep understanding of their fabulous ingredients. What they do with it all to creat such splendid dishes, is little short of utter genius to me and my palate

Often stop off in Berwick during journeys and found this little gem. They were doing Christmas lunches but squeezed us in despite being very busy. What can I say? Excellent service, superb food, will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff!

Great place, we were sent for breakfast from the local inn, and presented with the best breakfast we’d ever been offered! Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, well used by the locals, (always a good sign) dog friendly - a real treat from beginning to end - many thanks
