The best restaurants in St Peter's Sunderland North East

I ordered from these at 9.30pm as a late tea, they close at 23:00 apparently. 45 minutes later I get a message saying my order is canceled as they are closed. Absolutely useless. Thanks for the messing around.

Pasan por este lugar todo el tiempo y se han sentido a entrar desde que se abren, y me las arreglé para tener la oportunidad de hacerlo, última noche y no me decepcionó. No era que estaba ocupado, pero no puedo entender por qué ya que la comida era impresionante, estupendas tapas y una selección fabulosa para elegir. Excelente relación calidad-precio y el servicio que empareja con la calidad de la comida. Fuimos a las 7 tapas por 24 libras y el chef también envió a una sopa gratuita como un aperitivo. Los platos estaban bien pensado, bien presentado y recién hecho. Sin duda volveremos y ya se lo he recomendado ...

Quick note before review. They only accept cash. I wanted to try it as it is a lovely setting and bakehouse. I went in at 10:30am and fancied some quiche off the menu. It wasn't ready (wasn't cooked). There really wasn't anything that made it a bakehouse on the day. I ended up having homemade broccoli and stilton soup and a old school corned beef toastie which was quite nice.

First visit to gmts by recommendation from a friend as my usual chinese was shut, i phoned the order in and went to pick it up and when i walked in the door the smells from all the different food hit you..... It was amazing. Staff were brilliant and the price is very reasonable, the food was absolutely amazing too. This place is easily my new favourite.

Open but closed. “Sunderland’s best Pizza” said they and the reviews. Sadly I arrived at 20.55 and the lights on but no 1 home. Opening hours said midnight so I hadn’t cut it that fine. “Welcome - We are open” winked and flirted the neon sign at me. Sadly we remained unfulfilled and me hungry. Ah well how bizarre

Miserable un friendly couple only take cash wink wink we wanted to by drinks but we hadnt any cash we asked if the kids could eat there sandwiches and dry their feet off they were moved o , quite ashamed, they vecame up from the south and further from getting warm sunderland welcome we were met with this. The the lady had been sucking lemons, for warm friendly service carry on walking

As far as I’m aware due to the lack of notification this business is no longer operating. I have tried on several occasions to contact them via phone and I’ve been unable to do so and every time a friend of mine or a family member has been past the store it has been shut.

¡Qué cintura de tiempo! Se dio la vuelta a las 10. 15 esperando música en vivo y estaba cerrado! ¡Tan decepcionado nada para que la gente lo sepa! ¡Impresionante!

Hemos llamado para café y pastel un par de veces y luego regresamos ayer para probar la pizza que eran excelentes. Ligeras y sabrosas y a un millón de millas de las robustas y sosas pizzas que a menudo se sirven localmente. Fausto tiene un ambiente agradable, todo el personal era encantador y acogedor. A mi padre de 86 años le gustó el tema del ciclismo, ya que Fausto Coppi era su héroe de la infancia. A mi hijo le gustó la música y declaró que la pizza era la mejor fuera de Italia. A mi marido le encantó el café y nuestro perro disfrutó de su galleta de perro. (Fausto es doggo friendly también, lo que es un punto positivo masivo.) Muy recomendable para todos.

Very nice. Lovely fish and chips. Great location too.

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces y nos encanta el lugar. El personal es muy amable y servicial y hay un buen menú. Durante nuestras visitas hemos tenido bocadillos, tostadas, bollos, pasteles, té y varios cafés. Todo ha sido de gran calidad. En el exterior hay una hermosa vista del puerto deportivo y es una trampa solar adecuada. Sin duda recomendable.

Turned up and stood around for ten mins being ignored then told to go and sit in an awful waiting room and then the food took forever to turn up and the lobster was chewy and told someone said that last week so obviously nothing new at this place. Didn’t even get given a decent deduction. Staff are rude in front of customers. Would not recommend at all
