The best restaurants in Shear Brow Blackburn with Darwen North West

We were waiting exactly an hour for our order. When it arrived we discovered the quality of the food was not the same as it used to be. The chips were like cardboard and almost cold, the cheese and onion pie which I was my favourite turned out to be a small round pie with barely any filling instead of the succulent pie that was cut into squares from a large rectangle pie with lots of filling and pastry that melted in the mouth. The chips used to be square cut steak chips and really delicious. The burgers were terrible and the buns they were in were hard to bite through. It was a birthday treat and I recommended the place because my last visit there was enjoyable and the food first class as was the service. Unfortunately checks & Greys have chosen to downgrade the food and the service, which is a really bad move on their part because we won’t be visiting it again. I was left feeling totally let down after having praised the food and the service only to discover it had been down graded. Why would anyone choose to change something that was excellent into something that is now sub standard and lose customers. Since my visit I have heard many bad reviews from acquaintances and friends, I only wish I had known before booking a table for twelve of us on my birthday then we could have booked somewhere else instead.

Always the best freshest take away food ever. Saeed is a really nice guy and he makes the best pizzas and garlic bread with cheese ever.. better than restaurant quality

Absolutely love Kyber. Always go for mixed grill kebab on garlic naan bread. Arrives hot, fresh and tasty every single time 😋 chips are the best we've tasted 😋 highly recommended 👌

Best experience ever in Blackburn . Staff is friendly and delicious food. Delivery was on time smash box was wonderful and cheap.

Food came cold and I mean really cold. They said they would sort it next time!!! No offer to bring warm edible food. We rang 1 week later for food and said they could deliver as a replacement. The "manager" said he had no recollection of us complaining!! Shocking customer service, freezing food. After almost 30 years of using this place I will never use again. The original owners need to have serious words with the new owners... absolutely gone from a 10 out of 10 to a zero.

Very disappointed. Will not visit Blackburn M&S again. No wonder sales are down and branches closing. Watched member of staff stood there watching the doors just look on while 2 mum's were struggling to get through the door, it was almost as though she was laughing!!!!! Went round the food section and the staff were unhelpful and rude.. once of a day M&S had quality staff as well as products. How times have changed. Very Poor

Visited as a group of 10 tonight whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door. The food was fantastic and the staff and owner very friendly. There was a loud table near us and the owner dealt with it admirably and couldn’t apologise enough - a great evening and would definitely recommend a visit !

A normal fast food joint with pizza served as well the burgers are ok but the pizza is better nothing special that I can mention that stands out really but there is nothing bad either!!

This is the worst place we've ever eaten ten meals for work lads.not one happy lad.food was cold and half missing.the box meals looked like it's been re heated up.smah burger looked as it's been run over terrible place

I am an Uber delivery driver The guy at the counter spoke to me in such a bad banner All I said to him was the delivery is just across the road at the women’s salon beauty shop on the corner And he said what do you want me to F**kin do Go and deliver it There was a woman working with him and she was being nice and all Hope you learn a lesson by this review If you don’t then your business not gonna last long with that kind of attitude Disgusting behaviour

I went to this place and ordered one tea and samosa, which were extremely unhygienic to eat, it seemed like they were made with cheap-quality ingredients, which made me very, very sick after I came back. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of its poor food quality. I am hardly give reviews to anywhere but this quality forced me to write something..
