The best restaurants in Crewe South Cheshire East North West

Superb food, possibly the best Indian in Crewe, we tried pretty much everywhere in Crewe and most are terrible, let's be honest Indian ocean in Nantwich is the best around here by a mile but they don't deliver, we ordered a lamb garlic chilli massala, lamb handi dish, chicken bhuna, chicken tikka massala and a chicken makhani, 2 mushroom pilau, chips, onion bhaji etc, every curry was superb, the meat in every dish was by far the best we've had including Indian ocean, the curry sauces themselves I'd give 9/10 some lacked a little spice and depth and needed to be a tad thicker but I am just being picky in order to make them perfect, chips and rice where perfect, food was delivered within 30 minutes and it was actually quite cheap, same order at Indian ocean would have been about £25 more expensive, absolutely no greese or oil on any of the dishes, this will be our go to for an Indian now 100%

We’ve not used Akash in a while but have previously enjoyed their food. Ordered at 7.18pm via their website which said food would be with us in 90 mins. This came and went so my wife called up to enquire and was told it was enroute. Called back 20 mins later to be told it had not even left the kitchen!! I asked the manager to cancel our order as really did not want to eat after 10pm at night. Now waiting to see if the manager refunds my credit card as promised. Very disappointed..!

We used to go here a lot, I think it’s changed owners but I recently got a big hair in my food and when I called they just said what do you want me to do about it

Long wait, cold food, missing meals. We have been repeat customers for many many years and tonight’s order and service has really let us down. We ordered 8 meals for delivery using the online order system which stated a 30 minute wait. After an hour and a half and chasing up the order twice, we then finally received our order COLD, with a meal missing. We phoned straight away to complain that one meal was missing and another 45 minutes later, had to call again! We never received the missing meal. The food we did receive all had to be heated up in the microwave and was of poor quality. After calling to complain we were told they are extremely busy tonight, however this is not an adequate excuse for us to justify the long wait, poor communication and lack of order updates and a missing meal from our order. The website did not state this long wait at the time of our order. Unfortunately we will not be ordering in the future.

Food has gradually been getting worse for a while now but we’ve persevered hoping for it to improve until now. Garlic margarita pizza with yet again no garlic and a whole piri piri chicken with no legs but 4 unbelievably dry breasts. Definitely ordering from elsewhere in future.

I ordered beef in Cantonese sauce, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips via Just eat. The delivery driver was friendly and polite. The food was hot, the veg was fresh and everything was highly enjoyable. This restaurant has been open for a long time and maintains a high rating on Just eat which i find quite impressive, after ordering from there for the first time tonight, I would definitely recommend their food and will certainly consider ordering again.

Ordered via Website - their large Boneless bucket at £24 reasonably fair considering KFC prices for same amount being more extortionate. What wasn't fair was about a 3 Hour wait for food after 2 I had cancelled and all they offered was a free bottle of pop for wait and for the expense, so had to send poor fella back as no offense I am not possibly ending up with cold food for that price even if fairer than KFC prices. Was my first time ordering and has left such a bad taste in my mouth I will not order from them again and have instead gone with my regular cheaper more reliable takeaway Tigerbite.

Had food from here before and it was good. This time took over 2 hours! After 2 calls from me to them and then 2 calls from them to me...telling me I had already had it and asking me to check! They swore it was on its way and would have something extra as an apology. Food arrived, luke warm, no extras and almost 2 1/2 hours later! If you get it quick its ok, if its not on time and looks to be an hour or more just cancel and go somewhere else, its not worth the wait.

I never received my order. Restaurant staff told me that the driver had tried to ring me and had left the food outside which was not the case. When I told the guy I would complain he told me to go and f*** myself...

Owner is very disrespectful, also business looks run down, avoid this place at all costs im surprised the place has got 3 stars honestly people don’t waste your money on this place wouldn’t give the food to the rat running round the back off the business

Great prices but sadly this reflects on the food, fires are not very good. Way to thin and just not enjoyable to eat. Burger - BLAND. VERY TEASTLESS. Not sure if he’s even a done thing but was very watery, like the beef had been sat and stored in water and the lettuce and onion the same. No flavour at all. Not sure I’d order from here again.

Only recently found this fab Chinese takeaway ( not lived in Chester long! ) It is an amazing, lovely people who work in the shop and the delivery boy, they are always so cheerful and so polite. The shop so clean . The food is fantastic , the only problem is they are going on holiday for 2 weeks, how dare they ! They do deserve it but we will miss them . Thankyou all.

Made my first order for a large group without knowing what to expect. Fortunately, the food and service were fantastic, arrived warm and with a sizable free drink! Highly recommended. My fave was the Thai green curry (as hot as I like it) and egg fried rice.
