Disappointed in the roast. Overpriced for the quality. There's nothing "green" on the plate, the portion of meat was tiny, and the cauliflower cheese was very bland more like a white sauce than a cheese sauce. The kids portion for £10 was suitable for a toddler it was tiny. Better offerings in the area.

We had a lovely dinner here as a family of 5. Service was excellent, very efficient and they checked on us frequently. Food was delicious, tasty and fresh. Ambience was a little on the quiet side but it’s January and didn’t bother us. Would definitely come back again

We stayed one night as it was close to family we were visiting and we also wanted to explore Knutsford town centre. The room was spacious and decorated nicely in a modern style, comfortable accommodation. We had dinner and breakfast. All the food we had was very nice, there was a good atmosphere, though on the noisy side. It was busy and luckily we had booked a table; many drop ins were turned away. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

No where near as good as previous visit. The waitress was lovely and friendly. The full English however wasn’t good. It came out very quick suggesting not cooked fresh. It all tasted like reused oil. The egg was tasteless as if cheaply bought eggs and the sausage I couldn’t eat as again looked like and tasted like economy sausages. It all just tasted like oil/fat as if flash fried from being cooked already. Very disappointed this time. Gave a 3 for the waitress and the pot of tea.

We have just had the most wonderful experience at our new favourite pub! Called in on the hop just to get a bite and check it out. Wonderful setting, interior and exterior absolutely beautiful. Staff were wonderful. Quick, really polite and attentive. Food-great selections available on menu. We had Caesar salad and the monkfish. It was first class. Really beautifully cooked and presented. Wine also very nice. Would have probably stayed longer but the annoying scousers complaining put us off! Not your fault the swan, we’ll be back!

Good selection on menu, food very tasty and plenty of it and reasonably priced, service was just right not rushed. All the waiters very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant isn't huge so it got very busy, it would be a good idea to book a table so as not to be disappointed.

The Yellow Broom is best described as a blend of pure elegance with a splash of sophistication. The setting is undeniably beautiful, complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, who are clearly well-trained in delivering exceptional silver service. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of cuisine, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of exquisite, and the flavors were simply delightful. The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant were both appealing and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Yellow Broom is a truly first-class establishment that consistently maintains high standards. I highly recommend a visit—you will not be disappointed.

We used to love Ciao and was hoping for an amazing Italian. Social just lacked that friendly, Italian feel. Service lacks warmth and personality. It was quiet enough to take the time to smile at least and engage with the customers. Food is nice enough but cold and not presented brilliantly. Tiramisu had hair in it and rubbish bag left in the hallway as you walked to toilets. One of my little girls banged her head and the bar staff just looked over and carried on laughing and chatting. Ciao used to make the children feel special and that’s why they wanted to eat there! Food is expensive for what it is.
