All day breakfast still only £4.95, tastes good and served by real human beings. The location might be a little off-putting to some - in a corner of an indoor market building - so it's for a good bite to eat rather than posh dining. I bet most of the users have bus passes

Have purchased quite a few treats from Buzzy bee now and they are fantastic. Although I dread to think of the calories! Great selection of brownies and muffins/cookies. Very good portion sizes, which mean that you can share (if you want to), without feeling hard done by.

Well what cam I say this place is a little gem in the market hall. The burgers and loaded fries are amazing. The staff are friendly and the service is top notch. Highly recommended

Craig and Vicky’s attention to details and helping me sort the finer points of my dad’s wake, taking all the stress out of this and ensuring everything went smoothly and to plan. Couldn’t recommend Ego and the team at Haslington more. Thank you

Impromptu visit to round off an evening out. Outside it was rainy and cold, but the restaurant was warm and cosy. Very few diners were in, and so the room was quiet. We enjoyed attentive service and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. Will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Davenport Arms, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of beautiful; each dish was not only expertly prepared but also presented with an artistry that made every bite a visual treat. The menu showcased a wonderful variety of flavors, and it was clear that fresh, high-quality ingredients were used in every recipe. The establishment itself was equally impressive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a clean and stylish decor that made for a comfortable dining experience. It was refreshing to see such attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment, which added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. A special thank you to our server, Hope, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. Her attentiveness and positive attitude made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she truly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend The Davenport Arms for anyone looking to enjoy beautifully crafted food in a lovely, clean setting. I can't wait to return!

This is the second time we've been now and although the food is nice, it's very expensive for what you get. The conmbos you'd expect would be big enough to share but one chicken wing, two tiny riblets and a burger for a combo and 20 quid is a bit steep. Should have been 17 quid but when you add in the sauce that you're charged for and not told about it adds up. A quid a sauce! But never mentioned during ordering. We were just offered sauce. It would be fantastic if either the portions were bigger or price was lower. But I will say the fries are incredible there. Burger was tasty. Mac and cheese didn't have a great deal of flavour but it was very cheesy in texture

Superb experience for us. Having moved a bit too far away to keep this as our go to Indian, we decided to go back on Saturday night to sit in. A friendly greeting at the door, nice table and excellent service that was present but not intrusive. Two very nice curries, nice wine and good poppadoms. My wife has MS and found herself struggling up the stairs but the female waitress came to help her up which was very kind. An absolute 5/5 even if it’s expensive. But what isn’t expensive these days? They get it right in here which is probably why it’s rammed
