The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

Once again Nicci on the bar greeted me with a warm smile. Took my food and drinks order with her refreshing attitude, simply made me feel welcome. The food took a while to come, full rack of ribs with all the trimmings but boy was it worth the wait. The bones slid out of the meat, the chips and onion rings were crispy and golden. Highly recommended place to visit, food, drinks and ambience are off the scale. Actually took the time to thank Gill (chef) for the food with regard to the quality and presentation. Will DEF use here again, thanks ladies.

This place dumps on every other costa within a 10mile radius, I use them all & here you always get exactly what you order because the staff pay attention. I am so sick of getting a coffee that is the exactly same order that tastes completely different every single time & your lucky if its even hot. Well done Applegreens Costa, well worth the drive & the staff are always really welcoming & attentive.

We honestly order from here at least once a month. We love Thai food but their pad Thai we are still yet to find one that beats rainbirds. Woman who runs the place is just so lovely. 10/10 recommend

I bought a sourdough loaf last week and devowered it when I got home it was delicious. Today I had a coronation chickpea sandwich for my lunch. Wowser it tasted devine and was huge … requiring me to take the second half home!!! The service was efficient and friendly. I had a feel good experience for sure👍🏻

Within the hotel,a goodvset priced menu that seems to change daily. The meals are well presented and good quality although the vegetables could be better. The brocoli was overcooked and awful. The service was spot on but there was little atmosphere. Fairly priced for a hotel restaurant.

Small coffee shop with some nice unique bits for sale. Seemed popular with local cyclists and dog walkers. Nice stop off with family

Wow wow wow!!! What can i say about Mr and Mrs Dinky, incredible scran, honestly the best doughnuts in town, i've been there more times then I care to remember, every time i'm more and more impressed. honestly i'm craving some Dinkos right now. i'm enroute now.

Not religious at all but like other reviewers found this true OASIS when looking for refreshment in Chester Just great, lovely staff and clientele and great quality and value coffee and cakes... Interesting selection of books, gifts, cards etc Would use regularly if we lived locally Staff say they may have to relocate soon due to "commercial development of the site" Surely the Church which is not short of funds can provide an alternative venue for this wonderful place which probably does more for spreading the religious message than many more traditional churches etc...something in the Cathedral Precinct maybe?? We booked for a family birthday celebration. We received a warm welcome, great food and excellent service. We left feeling very full and happy! A great asset to the area. I'm sure we will be back in the future.

The ultimate breakfast was delicious. The cafe latte was tasty too.

Stopped in to Chester Market while visiting family in the area. Loads of food choices but went for a naan qrap with chicken tikka and onion bhaji. Amazing food, cooked very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

We visited in November for a friends birthday. The food was very average and portions were really small which wasn’t great. We were overcharged on our bill as staff has put everything through twice so spent a lot of time having to work out refunds. As a result I was incorrectly charged for drinks I did not order or have. When contacting the restaurant to resolve they started ignoring my emails once they’d deemed a refund wasn’t required. Disappointing.

This cafe is lovely and has a nice calming environment! It was busy but we managed to get a table. It was slow service however for christmas time and a busy Saturday its to be expected and not a negative at all. The coffee was delightful and the food amazing! (The sausages were so good!!!) My friend really liked the beef broth too :) Overall really lovely, really good prices! All served in amazing rainbow crockery too !!

great value for money and they don,t skimp out on the fillings. a good choice of pie,s pasties, sandwiches, cakes and drinks all available at a very reasonable price.

Best little real ale bar in northwich, real ales changed every week ,good atmosphere, great landlady cracking little place
