The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

This place took our booking on line arrived last night to find it locked up, If this company open anywhere near Chester DO NOT TRusT THem !!!

The grilled meats and hummus were fantastic. Really well marinated and seasoned. Even the bread with the hummus was very tasty. Manager could’ve been a bit more attentive, and the place was a bit cold, although it was -2 outside. Would def recommend. Would recommend.

Nice place, live band, good atmosphere but very expensive for drinks.

We booked a cocktail masterclass for our Christmas party and are so happy we did. The team, from the very first moment, looked after us in every sense: incredible service, incredible drinks, and such a laugh when making the cocktails behind the bar! The team loved the experience, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!!! Role on Christmas party 2025! haha!

Food remains great, lovely local pub, friendly staff, regularly updated menu. And at last a burger that doesn't have a brioche bun, but a sourdough one.

I am writing to bring to your attention a recent experience I had with your delivery service that left me quite disappointed. Yesterday ago, I placed an order for Indian food for my family, who were visiting from Ireland. Unfortunately, upon delivery, I discovered that a number of items were missing from my order. To make matters worse, the vegetarian dish I received was inaccurately prepared, containing only cheese instead of the expected vegetables. When I reached out to your team, I was assured that the missing items would be sent with the delivery driver. Regrettably, we waited for hours, and the food never arrived. As a result, I had to provide my guests with microwave rice the next day, which was far from the experience I wanted to offer them. I attempted to contact the restaurant that evening, but my calls went unanswered. When I spoke to a representative later, they suggested that my wife had requested not to have the rice delivered, which was not the case. I then followed the advice to visit the restaurant for a refund, only to find it closed, and my subsequent calls again went unanswered. This incident is particularly disheartening as it marks the second time in four weeks that my order has been incorrect. I must express that the level of customer service I received throughout this experience was quite poor, and I encountered instances of being misinformed.

Willington Hall is lovely place to visit for the weekend. This place is quiet and romantic. Good restaurant and welcoming staff . Tons of character and lovely gardens. This place is so peaceful. Highly recommend.

Not the cheapest or the best but a good breakfast and right next to a motorcycle accessory store. Who could ask for more. Just wish both were closer to home.

It makes a real change to visit a traditional old fashioned thatched cottage pub that hasn't been taken over by a pub chain. This pub is well worth a visit if you're visiting Northwich or passing through. The food is delicious and is all home cooked dishes served by friendly staff. I would definately recommend visiting this lovely pub.

Expensive for nothing out of ordinary.

Disgusting prices. Since Tony’s gone they have took the piss with prices. £22 for 3 chip dinners. Absolute joke. Didn’t have a choice because family was hungry. £4.80 for chips cheese and gravy. Yeah that’s justifiable

Really enjoyed a great lunch with my son at the Hare and Hounds in Crowton today. Food was superb, good menu with a great choice. Service was fantastic and with Westwood’s Jester on tap! what could be better. Highly recommended. Give it a try.

Nice place for a drink. Has always had very mediocre service, but seems to be improving

Our food is always great, we order at least once a week, shame they don’t offer so much as a free papodom on orders over say £50 as we spend a fortune and even when Ive asked we don’t receive, think the least they could do on customers orders over a certain value would be to offer some free papadoms. As I say shame as we order and spend a lot but obviously not treated as valued customers. Plenty more Indians restaurants we can use from now on though.
