I rarely leave a review, but this Kathmandu special, vegetable pakoras and breads , is the best feast I've had from any takeaway. Absolutely divine. Fast delivery too. 🙌🔥

My wife bought a Hawain burger from Petraz at weekend and when she got the food home there was no burger just pineapple Awful food wouldn't give it to our dog

Having driven past Checco’s numerous times and saying we must eat there, we finally went for dinner last night with some friends. The premises are traditional Italian and quaint For starters we had deep fried Brie, meatballs, chicken livers and the salt & pepper halloumi from the specials menu. All dishes were hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. For mains we had pizza, chicken, fillet Rossini and pasta sugo from the specials. Again every dish was great. We shared some puddings (tiramisu & profiteroles) which finished off the meal perfectly. Service was polite & friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back soon!

Bought 3 fish and chips this evening. Chips were ok. Fish not nice. The batter was undercooked and soggy.

I ordered over the phone, asked if there was a minimum order before coming out for delivery, the guy on other end was mumbling couldnt even speak his words, seemed not to put any effort in talking his words!!!! Either I woke him up from his sleep or hes that fed up of working there. Firstly he slammed phone down saying he didnt understand what I meant. When I call him back he didnt bother picking phone up yet I spoke to him politely and nothing happened that he had to put phone down. I just want to say to him firstly get your customer service skills in, dont know how you run a place without putting in effort to talk properly. Was trying to place an order first time here, looks it like will be the last time too!!!

Just got back from here! I would like to say what a great tea rooms probably one of the best I’ve been to. The service was great, atmosphere great, spacious, I had a coffee which was great flavour! And a currant scone cream and jam, when it arrived the clotted cream was really easy to spread because the scone was hot what a surprise? Tasted like no other. I would recommend this place what a pleasure.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS AND THEIR REVIEWS ARE NOT REAL.I ORDERED A LAMB CURRY AND RECEIVED HALF A CUP OF WATERY SAUCE AND A PIECE OF RIB AS BIG AS MY PINKY FINGER.I ORDERED THE SAME FROM REEDLEY takeaway and recieved a plastic take away box full of meat and sauce. The owner of easter promise is a very old rude man and unexperienced The portion was put in a sauce tub about 2 tablespoons is what it looked like.DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE THESE PEOPLE TAKE COMPLAINTS VERY LIGHTLY AND ARE VERY EXPENSIVE

They say 20 mins delivery but they mean 1 well over an hour. You ring them up to find out what’s happening and they fob you off with “I’m gonna send someone asap” but of course they don’t. Why not say it will take 1.5 hours for delivery instead of lying?

Came with the Mrs and two kids, food was excellent and not too dear. Beer selection was good too. I had the fish, which was crispy and delicious, the wife had cheese pie and the kids were very happy. Staff were lovely. Top place!!

This cafe is the best in Blackburn bar none the food is top drawer. The chips are crispy 😋 just like they should be the service is excellent. Me and my wife been going in since it was upstairs in the old market. The proprietor is very polite and can't do enough for you. Forget the pub grub try here instead. You won't be disappointed.
