The best restaurants in Hyndburn North West

Payed 6 pound for keema and chips this is what I got, I rang up I said where is the keema oh that's our portions and it should be all over, as you can see it's not and there's a spoon full of keema 😕

Whilst the food and service were good and me and the wife enjoyed our meal I did notice that the restaurant itself could do with a thorough clean. There were cobwebs on the lights and high on the walls, the floor needed a good sweep under the tables and both bins were full to almost overflowing. The restaurant itself wasn’t particularly busy with only 5 tables in but they seemed to have quite a few online orders. The first spork we picked up was not good and would have splintered in my mouth if not checked first but I suppose that’s the risk with wooden cutlery.

Hello. Me and my friends have just ordered from you. As long living citizens of the Rishton and great harwood area we are big fans of Big Bite and the nostalgic MCalis’s. Hearing the same owners have the takeaway and in regards to the chicken wrap I came in store to buy around a year ago, I recommended this takeaway to friends. Online we saw that the chicken wrap was 7.00 , this is without chips. Wow. However, remembering how much I enjoyed the chicken wrap from last year I assured friends that the size and quality was worth it and that they could even share. The food has just been delivered and eaten and I am sad to say the chicken wrap , not even the same kind of chicken as last year , was small. It used to contain at least 2/3 breasts of chicken and would knock any man to his bed with pure satisfaction. This wrap was unsatisfactory and I really can not understand what it is this wrap contains now that is even worth anywhere near the 7.00 mark. This surely must be some kind of scam , as any chefs, manager , or customer buying this in store would question the quality of this ‘meal’ . Sorry to be fussy , however , as people who do not earn too much money, a takeaway at the end of the week is a treat. Disappointing and sorry to say so. Please reassess the prices of your menu as the food is good, but not that good. Thank you and have a nice day from pissed person making effort in between bevs to write this . Xxx

Yeah not quality here, chewy dough and then the messed up insides, all pizzas lacked flavour, it felt like we were being punished as we ate, no thanks, never again.

Had a very bad experience. Firstly had to ring in to ask what was taking so long for food to be delivered,when arrived all the food was cold, No sauce on pizza,donner meat was dry and overcooked,burger and chips were tasteless due to being cold,waste of money,never ordering from here again ...

Just had a meal here chefs were Sammy and Dawn, congrats excellent meal, staff were very good and service great ,thanks.

turned away ... rang and asked if needed to book ... no need to do was told .... turned up and then turned away when arrived ... !!!! It was virtually empty .... what business can afford to turn away customers!!! Went to Sycamore Farm instead!!

worst place in accrington , turned up cold and dried out tried to ring 2hours before there closing time answerphone said closed? kebab that bad even my dog wouldnt eat it and stale dry chips disgusting REPORTING TO COUNCIL FOR FOOD AND HYGENE RATINGS TASTED LIIKE DOG FOOD .UNLESS YOU LIKE DOG FOOD AVOID !!!! i worked in a takeway for 10 years until i retired so i know the difference between good and bad food!! THIS PLACE NEEDS CLOSING DOWN

Lunchtime visit. Asked if they take debit card, said yes. Ordered full breakfast, chip barm and a millionaire shortbread. No one else in cafe, which speaks volumes! Drinks and food arrived 50 minutes later. Ridiculous amount of time. I couldn't eat the cake, had a weird taste. Had to leave coffee, didn't have time left on car parking. Went to pay, suddenly told they only take cash. I would never go back.

Once called in for a spot of lunch after shopping in store, always a friendly greeting from the staff who take the orders. My wife and sister-in-law only wanted chips and gravy with a pot of tea each, I fancied the look of the Shakshuka with eggs, Shakshuka is an easy, healthy meal in Israel and other parts of the Middle East and North Africa. It’s a simple combination of simmering tomatoes, onions, garlic, spices and gently fried or porched eggs. And must it was delicious and spicy, I will certainly be trying it again. Thank you.

Ordered first time came cold, rang the restaurant who sent the food out all again and it’s absolutely bang on red hot fresh.! Thank you
