I had the small full English breakfast, my fella the all day breakfast and my friend had a large bacon barm (it was very large). It was delicious and would go back again when in the area.

Went for lunch with my mum. Long wait for our food despite there only being two other people in the pub. My soup was barely warm and really sweet, my bread roll was rock hard and my mums fried egg was burnt underneath. The host offered to take my soup back but I didn’t have time to wait any longer. He said he would pass on my feedback to the chef but didn’t offer any discount off my bill. Very disappointing, we won’t be eating here again.

Ordered food for delivery came within an hour and a half. Food was cold no call to say my food had been left on the step. Rude service calling me ‘brother’ and had the audacity to hang up on a customer. I don’t know who knocks on doors like he’s delivering to mice but it’s even ruder that they hung up on me with no ultimatum of a refund. Definitely not ordering here again, and wouldn’t recommend.

This place is now under new management I have discovered, Very old reviews if you notice. I visited on the off chance and was extremely satisfied with what I purchased (Waffle, Milkshake, CookieDough) all extremely delicious and greatly presented. I will be popping by again when in town. Thanks very very much. All was enjoyed.

Nice clean little restaurant. We’re asked to take a seat and wait to be served. Young waitress completely forgot about us, so 15 minutes later, we asked another young waitress. Ordered a flat white + a jug of water to share. Also ordered the jacket potato with cheese and beans. The potato, which was small, was £5.75 - the cheese was £1.30 and the beans were £1.30. So £8.35 for a v small potato lunch - my daughter and I looked quite surprised at the portion. Likewise, my flat white arrived & that too was the smallest flat white coffee I’ve experienced, in all the coffee shops we’ve ever visited. I ordered the Mediterranean salad. That came in a 10” diameter pasta style dish, that was actually only 6” diameter where the food is. I was really surprised that for £8.95 there were only 5 v v small pieces of chicken, atop what I can only describe as a bowl of lettuce, 1 slither of tomato & 7 small black olives. The portion of chunky chips, £2.95, served in nothing more than a tiny tin cup - was easily the smallest portion we’ve EVER experienced. Even the glasses that were given to drink the water were like those used in a nursery. The theme of small runs in this cafe. V v disappointed & would absolutely never return
