The best restaurants in Ashton St Michael's Tameside North West

The cafe workers are soo miserable I don’t know why they work there😕. They rush to close early every single day it’s really bad! I’ve been helping my partner all day and was looking forward to my TEA BUT THEY CLOSED AN HOUR EARLY!!!! maybe because it’s “FRIDAY” honestly the faces they have on is soo off putting and miserable like it’s their business lol

Just bought supper from here and Its gone down hill massively since I last went there. Fish is frankly inedible, it tastes slimey and smells off. Peas smell properly dodgy too. Chop suey roll is cold, chips are old, chewy and cold as well. It's all wrong in every possible way and obviously we havent eaten it. I waited for ages in there for this sh!t as well. I feel like taking it back but I can't be bothered arguing with them. I won't go back there and I'd recommend everyone else steer clear. There's better chippies in ashton, stalybridge etc. Take my advice and go somewhere else. This is going in the bin!

Absolutely disgusting. Cold food (probably because common sense evaded them and they put cold cans with hot food in the same bag), quality and quantity are NOT worth the price. Burnt chips with bone dry chicken (the few pieces of measly chicken you pay £3 extra for) and yet it's cold. Burnt food that is cold. So burnt it had fused to the foil tray. Ended up giving it to the dog and even he turned his nose up at it. This is a dog that will eat frozen chips by the way. Packaged that horrendously the toppings off the hotdog (the extremely scarse onions and ridiculous ton of mustard) had to be scraped out of the box to be put back onto the cold hotdog and soggy bun (soggy from the copious amount of mustard). I'd avoid this place if you actually want decent food, especially for the ridiculous prices they charge.
