How can anyone not love a Greggs?!

Both me and a friend called in today the main reason was to have some lunch, when we arrived the pub was very busy which is a good sign,the real ale is always good but I haven't had food here before, so we both ordered the home made Cheese and Onion pie with chips and veg and when it came we were both surprised how good it was, the whole meal was gorgeous and for a great low price,if you haven't had a meal here before I would suggest that you try it,12-3 the food is served.

Went in to look at bread only to be screamed at by a member of staff about there being a queue. Pointed out that I hadn’t selected anything yet but she just carried on barking about the queue so walked out. Very rude

On my visit to Hyde today (Tuesday 12th November 2024) i noticed this chippy had a few special deals on the windows so i went inside. Inside the chippy was a price list. On the price list there was also a specials section ( Tuesday-sausage and chips £4.00 and on a Thursday pie and chips £4.75. Being a Tuesday i ordered 2 sausage and chips. I was told a different price than the one shown quite clearly on the price list board. I asked why it was a different price than the on shown quite clearly on the board and was told they dont do the specials anymore(if this is not a scam why Bosums leave it on the price list board knowing that they dont do it? I also think that this is illegal). I remember when this chippy used to be very busy now i know why it is not !!!! Places like this that deliberately try to deceive dont deserve your custom !!!! Give your custom to a business that doesn't rip customers off !!!. AVOID !!! SHAME ON YOU BOSUNS !!!!

This was a delivery. Ordered a 6 pc hot wing meal and only received 4. A lot of coating on but very little chicken. All the chips were cold had come out of the little paper bags and were in a heap at the bottom of the main bag. More care when completing orders needed.

They got the order completely wrong and took ages to prepare it so I was left having to eat it. Slow and incompetent.

I’ve been coming to this chippy for 28 years. Only chippy I liked in Hyde. Went recently and was disappointed with my food. I’ve heard it’s changed hands now. Don’t think I’ll be going here again

I went to rendezvous cafe for lunch with some work colleagues. After a heavy morning of lifting, we wanted a warm sit down meal. The cafe was very busy and there was a queue. My colleagues got in the queue, however there was some confusion as to which side the queue should be. One staff member (lady taking food to tables) was quite vocally rude, regarding the customers queuing. After we ordered and paid, whist waiting for our food the lady taking food to tables was shouting out order numbers. She was shouting the order number and the food order, in a very confusing manner, so people wasn’t claiming their food. The cafe was very noisy with lots of the customers talking with each other. I heard her again being derogatory about the customers saying “if everyone wasn’t gabbing so much they might be able to hear” as a paying customer, I didn’t appreciate hearing this remark in regards to customers dining in their cafe. A lot of the customer base are older ladies and gentlemen that are potentially hard of hearing, or people meeting for a catch up and shouldn’t have to be silent while waiting for their food. I had no issue with my food, although it was rather bland, I was hungry and ate it all. Looking around however at other people’s meals, had I received some of them, I would have sent it back as inedible. Somebody needs to learn how to make toast that isn’t cremated. Based on my experience with the waitress, I would not return

Honestly the worst butty I've every had. It was a soggy, massively over priced, mess.

The quality and taste of their pizza's are fantastic. The delivery service is great and very friendly and helpful staff. Won't go anywhere else.

I only have a coffee but very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. It feels very safe in the present circumstsnces with clean well spaced tables, masked staff and lots of handvsanitiser. Its a good stop for a rest and a brew. I meet friends there regularly and it's convenient and friendly with a reasonable cup of coffee. We are never rushed by the staff.

I drove 13 miles to get to this Costa before they closed at 5.30. I rushed through the door at 5.25 to be told by the baristas they’d closed. Very disappointing.
