Excellent dinner on 24th December. Bright and breezy service, very fast and always ready to help and give any information needed. Food delicious. Only teeny thing was lamb was perhaps a tad overcooked, but hey, no one's perfect and I ate the whole thing.

What an experience I had at Sweet Pea Cafe. I came to a Ukrainian Festive event. Experiencing some of the delights of Ukraine Cuisine. The host Svitlana understands what British tastes are like and advises accordingly. The menu is really interesting and it is a lovely cosy atmosphere.

Been twice now. First time we came in for a Saturday breakfast and we had 4 perfect poached eggs and I thought 'this suggests they can cook' (you should see mine)... so we booked for a jazz night and had a fantastic Christmas dinner. Everything was truly beautifully cooked. Service is lovely and friendly and it's a really nice environment. Highly recommend Barbetta's.

We went on a Sunday morning & initially there were only a few other customers but by the time we left it was packed & I can understand why . . . The breakfast was delicious 😋 Admittedly it's pricey at £10.95 for 2 poached eggs, avocado, tomatoes on toasted sourdough + a coffee so you're looking @ £14 or £15 for breakfast but it was lovely 🙂 The staff are very welcoming.

I was always a massive fan of Green Onions Cafe, and have been for years. It is very dog friendly which is a massive plus. The owner Matt is very friendly, and is very amiable. If you had asked me 2 years ago, this place would have been rated 5 stars easily. However more recently some things have changed and not for the better. The menu has changed and things cost more (which is understandable as most things have these days). However the food portions have also become noticeably smaller, and the food quality has also lessened. For example instead of the round hash browns, now it is just a cheaper hash brown. You get 2/3 small tomato’s, and mushrooms are limited too. When paying more you would expect the portions to remain the same. You used to also be able to add a fresh juice onto a breakfast however now it is all sold separately. Therefore to go for breakfast it will cost a lot more than previously. It is still a good cafe, but it would be nice to see it change some things back to how it used to be.

First visit unfortunately the last. The venue is large inside and is presented really well. The barman was helpful and knowledgeable when I enquired about the different drinks on draught. It all went strange when I asked if I could take a pic of the bar staff standing in front of their lovely Christmas tree. I'm not certain if they thought I was poking fun? At first they said yes until the manager ? I assume it was the manager said no . I'd asked a few times but he just said no. The place was not busy and it was genuinely to post a pic of the staff with their Christmas tree as it looked really good. Apologies if I've offended but as we like Christmas I thought it would be a good gesture to show the place and staff in the festive season. 👍. Great venue.👍
