The best restaurants in Wirral North West

First time visiting and surprised to see it packed to the door. There were 4 of us and I have to say the food was absolutely fantastic and generous portions, we even took some home. The staff were fantastic understandably the wait was a bit slow but only what you would expect for freshly cooked food. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch with friends whilst in town from Manchester and wow it didn't disappoint. Portions were huge, food was fresh and the price was great. Friendly staff and would definitely recommend

Not up to the usual P Inn standards. Staff were lovely. Downstairs was not v welcoming or comfortable, although staff were v helpful. Bedroom was as expected but needed an update.

It's at the lower end of the hotel market but rooms are clean and comfortable. It suits our requirements.

What a shame about the awfully slow service. There were lots of staff, as you'd expect on a Sunday lunchtime, and not many customers, so I guess the delays are caused by the kitchen. We arrived at 1:00 and ordered drinks, then ordered our food at about 1:15 and it began to arrive at 2:00. It was nice enough for the price, but it arrived so late, and at different times for different dishes.

My friend and I were looking for a cosy pub lunch pretty last minute - we called to book 45 mins before and got lucky to get a table right next to the cosy fire place. The menu was a good size and the options were varied with a big focus on hearty pub classics. I went for the roast as it was Sunday and it was a 10/10 - couldn't fault it. Home made yorkshire, delicious fresh veggies and generous, tender beef. We had a coffee course at the end of the meal which was lovely as the fire burned away. Last but not least, every single member of the team was wonderfully welcoming and polite. Please give this local gem a go! Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely be back xx

£4.25 for a pint of lime and lemonade plus a packet of bacon fries was shocking.

A proper boozer, still with original wood panelling. Friendly staff, decent selection of beers, what's not to like? Sadly these places are disappearing, enjoy it whilst you can.

Can’t get enough of this amazing combo ! Salt n Pepper Doner and chips (Chinese style Salt n Pepper) haven’t seen this anywhere else, and it works so well 😋😋😋

Fish and chips with fruity curry was the best I've had this year .Tried all the others in New Brighton and West Kirkby. This beats them all .

Dropping a star, only because you can only pay cash. It's a good chippy. Only my first visit so not easy to give the best opinion on all the food. We had fish and chips (haddock only). It was cooked great, not greasy. I would visit again. There Menu is available online.

Ordered a few times from yummies recently and everything has been quality. Ordered again tonight, on what I imagine would have been a very busy night and the same high standards were met 👌🏼
