Stopped by for a late lunch today the 29th Dec. We have been regulars at Toscas since the restaurant opened 20 yrs ago. The owner and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. The food and wine is excellent. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We eat from here at least once a month a can honestly never complain, however tonight the food was terrible not sure if they have a new chef? Curry was really salty and the cartons were only just half full Really disappointing as we’ve always had such lovely food

Gluten free options not good. Could not see signage for products containing Nuts. The seats and tables were not appropriate for Disabled Adults and Children. I witnessed a one-armed gentlemen try to move one of the chairs and a lady making numerous attempts to sit at a table in a motorised wheelchair.

We didn’t visit but I feel I must leave a very positive review of the cakes. My niece works in this cafe/bakery. On her last two visits to me in Essex, she has brought cakes. I asked where they were from as I cannot find anything near me that compares. The fruit scones are amazing. Much more than the usual two or three sultanas normally found, they’re also tasty and don’t crumble to nothing when cutting. The chocolate brownies are to die for. Moist and very chocolatey with a good texture. Mince pies that were full of fruit and the pastry was amazing. The next time I go to Shoreham, I’ll make a point of going in as the small samples I’ve tried makes me think there is so much more tempting food offer awaiting.

Cosy, real wood fire, fairly roomy. Ye olde world feel, and delicious food. The Thai we had ( green and king prawn curry) was the tastiest I have tried in years, and that includes the Thai restaurants we have eaten in. We'll done to all the staff there we shall return in the new year for sure. All in all, it is a lovely traditional pub with very tasty food.

This is a good McDonalds Food was tasty and fresh service was pretty quick tbh the parking was a bit of a nightmare in my large van but I think this was because it was lunchtime! Beware there is a train crossing next to the restaurant the barrier for the crossing is down more than it’s up! It can take 10mins or more sometimes to get across it! I got caught in it. Apart from that worth a visit

Stumbled across this pub whilst out on a day trip, and the food was lovely. Tasted delicious, really well presented. Today it is very quiet in here, start of the year and a weekday, but the interior is gorgeous, lovely view across the river. The only downside is that those with limited mobility, like myself, struggle a bit with all the steps. Once seated though, I've really enjoyed it and will be back later in the year

We had breakfast here today, both had the vegetarian. An understandably long wait as a busy Easter Sunday. However for £9.00 each excluding drinks, we expected a lot more. There were two eggs, a tiny veg sausage, one small tomatoe cut in half, a tub of baked beans, two paper thin slices of halloumi and two slices of toast.

Awful and expensive. Bought 2 baguette rolls, one was chicken and bacon...but no bacon. One was a NY Deli...not great either but all ingredients present. 2 bags of crips and 2 drinks...just shy of £16. A real rip off. When I complained I was told that they all come premade so they were unaware...ok that's alright then! Bread was doughy and industrial...absolutely nothing to like and a rip off to boot. Avoid at all costs.
