Brilliant hospitality! looked after us when it was raining outside. Had a lovely in depth chat with the publican about he's approach to the business and the wonderful work the pub does within the local community. Bar staff did wonders after being caught out with an influx of punters, because the game got called off. - Plenty of pool tables 🎱 - loads of Dart boards 🎯 - Television on every wall 📺 Thanks for having us. CAFC ⚽ All the best. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don’t know why there are so many negative comments on this bar? Although I never ate the 3 lads on the bar were very friendly, there is 3 largers on tap along with a cider. Very good prices for an airport hotel bar.

Every single time we go, something from the menu changes. First it was the garlic mushrooms that turned into breaded mushrooms with no hint of garlic but instead spice. Then the cheese sticks which were big and filled with cheese, the next week after that they changed them to being tiny. Chips are hit and miss, you might get cold chips and you might get fresh ones. Also expect your mushy peas to be freezing as they forgot to pop it in the microwave before giving it to us. £9 for 8 pieces of scampi of which they don't taste fresh. And now the cheese sticks are hard and comprise of more breadcrumbs than cheese. Also changed the small chips to a kids portion, meaning you have to pay more for the same quantity

In the English countryside (though not far from London Gatwick), you’ll come across this pub and restaurant. It’s a bit of a ‘tardis’ looking small from the outside, but it expands into a cosy restaurant when you get behind the pub with its inviting fireplace and the tables hosting many a local. The staff is so welcoming and helpful and the menu hosts lots of British classics - pies, fish & chips, cottage pie croquettes (a personal favourite, I discovered). There were salads, lasagne and all sorts lovely eats augmented by old fashioned desserts. There’s a full bar with cocktails, a never ending list of beers and a small, but most acceptable wine list. It’s a great fine. Maybe a big off the beaten track, but one worth finding!

We came to The Gatwick Manor for a Christmas lunch with a group of 64 ladies from a local village from our annual Christmas lunch This was a new venue for us, and it did cause some anxiety in how this would compare to previous locations attended for this annual event. Michelle and her amazing team were absolutely fantastic and took care of us so very well. Nothing was too much trouble. Great service, great care, and exceptional food. Hot, fresh, tasty, and generous portions. The feedback we have had from our group on their experience is glowing. Thank you Michelle and team Simply brilliant !!!

We had our wedding in the Thyne barn at Gatwick Manor. Michelle and her team are absolutely amazing. Such a friendly bunch of people. Alison and James are fantastic. Michelle went above and beyond her job as an events manager for me, she really did make the day run so smoothly and had everything in hand so I could relax and enjoy my day. This woman is a true diamond. Gatwick manor is a beautiful venue to have my wedding, no question. The Thyne barn has its own character with wooden beams and quirky decor. Michelle helped plan where everything would go, shes got a stage where I had my wedding singer (the amazing Harry Bennett) I had a sweet station, photobooth and a separate table for cake. The team turned around the ceremony room to a beautifully laid out dining area for my guests where pure white linen was laid with my centre pieces and decorations. I highly recommend Michelle and her team to take care of your wedding or event. Thank you so much Michelle, James and Alison and team xxx

We attended for the Dolly Parton experience, the music was fab and the food is always good too, never disappoints. Staff were great too and it was nice to see them all enjoying all the music too! Our only slight criticism was that as we were seated in the wagon we couldn’t actually see the stage, we were told the singers would move round and they did but we couldn’t see a lot of it so eventually untied the canvas ourselves and then it was fab! Would suggest this is done for music events in future and after that we had a great time! Didn’t wait for drinks and food came out super quick. Definitely recommend!

We visited as a family of eight for Breakfast with Santa. Please don’t be put off by the not so good reviews. Food was plentiful and hot. Santa was brilliant and spent time with our Grandchildren, asking their names and what they want for Christmas. We weren’t rushed and felt that it was very good value for money. Well Done Toby Carvery.
