The best restaurants in Dover South East

Great restaurant, instant service, drinks came quickly while we were looking at the menu. The menu had an extensive choice of dishes at affordable prices, my meal, the Persian lamb flatbread was delicious and far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely terrible. A woman cashier overcharged and got our order wrong. They were then moaning that they had to go back and correct themselves because they couldn’t understand our English language. We had little children running around the establishment playing hide and seek right next to our table surrounding us. Then you had people vaping in the establishment. The tables were mucky and unclean. The floor was appalling with dirt and mud all over it. Please go somewhere else or a different kfc. It is appalling please sort yourselves out!

For the second week an absolute shambles ordered fish and chips last week told the lady cooking it would only cook us an all day breakfast as we were to early @ 11:40 this week we delayed our arrival to 1pm and ordered fish and chips and was told they only had an all day breakfast I spoke with the young man on the till whose attitude was at best disconcerted I also pointed out that the male toilets haven’t been open on my visits for the last 3 weeks even whilst I write the lady is telling those in the que they are only doing breakfast the shame is I came back and had told others the fish and chips was good but I won’t be coming back which means working in the care home I do will mean Morrisons will lose about £1000 per month but hey I’m only a customer Tesco here we come 🤮🤮🤮

Very nice takeaway but massively bulked up with vegetables. Told an hours wait got there and had to wait another 30 mins. Good to know its being cooked fresh & was hot but mostly vegetables

first time and the worst food ever what i can chilli should be red not orange and my little 5 year old son found a hair in the chips i called up there and his telling me sorry because it was very bussy loool theres nathing to do with bussy or no bussy what kinda hygenie clean they have if in the chips was hair 0 - 10

Food was delivered. My son found a long grey hair in his battered sausage underneath the batter. The food was awful normally ok. We phoned the take away to speak to someone they didn't care less about it. Just said ok bye. NEVER use them again...now both kids are complaining of stomach pains and visited toilet..

We decided to go here for coffee and cake on our way home. It is clear millions of pounds has been spent on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre, and it is in a stunning location with fabulous sea views. It was a beautiful warm sunny day in the school Summer holidays, and should have been full, but I can see why no one would want to return to the Cockpit Cafe, given the dismal range of cheap bought in cakes they had on offer. There were 3 full cakes on display, 2 were gluten free and 1 was vegan, the plastic wrapped Bakewell tarts were also gluten free. Now given that this probably represents probably less than 5-10% of the population, it begs the question why these were the only cakes on offer? There were 3 staff behind the counter who seemed to have nothing much to do, why not bake a couple of fresh cakes and some scones every day, then the place might become more popular and get repeat visitors. Ask each customer if they would choose vegan or gluten free options to give them an idea of how in demand they actually are. The coffee was also very poor, a definite non repeat, though we did enjoy wondering around the Battle of Memorial Flight grounds in the sunshine.

We liked Sid’s we went back twice . Great choice of ice creams and nice cones too . You can have a bowl or cone and get your dog ice cream too . Very friendly staff on both occasions we went . We think it’s not bad value for money and it’s a hidden gem away from the sea front. recommend

Don't use. The meals were cold. They were late delivering. Couldn't get the order correctly. Very unhappy.

We ordered online for their Pizza special. The pizza was good and value for money. It arrived on time and the driver followed the instruction to phone (we were staying in a hotel). There was another delivery to the hotel and it also smelle dreally good.

Shocking!!!! I don't know what's happened but after today I will never be going back to this store. Very poorly trained staff, loads of cross contamination and very slow. I watched my order being made with contaminated gloves and see what it looked like after it was toased and walked out. I love subway but there was no was in hell I was eating that. One staff barely spoke English and had no clue what she was doing. AVOID AT COSTS

Came here to test the festive range, staff are rude and service is definitely lacking. Luckily ate my food on way home because it was practically cold seconds after leaving. Will not go back.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff owner/manager completely avoid this place they are scammers they say they have deals on and then try and charge you full price. Please avoid please please please avoid

Very nice, and big, chicken kebab with loads of salad. Staff were very pleasant too. Definitely better than your average kebab shop
