Just back from an impromptu lunch. When we went in at 12 we were only ones there. When we left at 1345 it was packed solid. Food is exceptional, magnificent in fact. When we move to Sovereign Harbour this will be our weekly treat !!!

Very professional yet cosy, food is great

Had what is probably my worst ever dining experience here with my friends today. Food was ok, certainly nothing special, there were 4 of us, we spent roughly £50 between us, there was a mix up at the til and it seems an extra tea had been added to out table’s bill. Long story short, the manager became all super unnecessary and aggressive pretty much accusing us of stealing a tea, we told them we were in a hurry to go, but they didn’t really want us to leave until they investigated the extra tea drama. Really bad customer service, for the sake of a 10p teabag (that we didn’t have), they’ve lost our return custom, both as a group and as individuals with partners etc… not the way to carry on when working with paying customers when there is plenty of competition elsewhere and access to review boards. Shame on them!

Nice people and great food. Chips are spot on, they tase good and not of fat or fish or the like.

Absolutely disgusting, the toilets are really bad

Visit A) 9 of us booked in for breakfast at 10am, no one else dining as we entered. We wrote our orders down for the server for ease, despite that- the orders came out wrong. People with the wrong eggs, beans with foreign body in it, missing toast, too many drinks. My beans and mushroom were freezing cold. Got the bill and they over charged us too! Had to get it amended twice. New staff that use to work at Treacle mine served us, clearly use to how it worked there where people pay just a set price and collect their own drinks. Don’t have the skills to manage proper ordering etc. Very poor attention to detail. No wonder the place is dead with situations like this. I won’t rush back. Visit B) Returned for new years for festive menu specifically as per my booking and only when arrive told it isn’t available as they deliberately run down the stock. Ruined our plans as only booked for the special set menu. Sauces all low, so much missing food items, festive menu not sold. I’m so sick of this place, it’s rubbish every time

Disgustingly rude owner no cost service skills totally unprofessional and unhelpful. The coffee is mediocre and totally overpriced and the toilets are disgusting in fact health hazard avoid this place like the plague.

The food was ok but the manager a man was sitting on the food counter which is ABIT off putting when they take the food from this area. The others staff were lovely and so happy
