The best restaurants in Upperton Eastbourne South East

Whenever we go to Eastbourne we always go here. The staff are so friendly and the food is lovely. We have been to Italy a few times ,the food here is just as good Really do recommend Mamma Mia

This is a lovely little bakery and the staff are very nice. Very occasionally they have a raspberry cheesecake brownie, which is amazing. Apparently it’s a “special” item which they only have once in a blue moon. They should have it all the time because the other two brownies are mediocre at best.

The tea and tea cakes were good quality.We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely be visiting very soon and feel very lucky to have this delightful cafe on my doorstep.Great service to.

Only a few of us in there on the night we were in but I really enjoyed my time there.

Just had breakfast before getting train to london as we wanted something to set us up for the day. Unfortuntly it wasn't as i expected after hearing good reviews from friends. Bacon & sausage overcooked, egg's we're scrambled when i hate scrambled egg & no choice or description on menu. Toast was burnt too. If you only do scrambled egg then you need to say that on menu. Not a very good experiance!!

This used to be my favourite place to go for breakfast and I always recommend it to people. Amazing pancakes and great fried breakfast. Unfortunately I’m not sure what’s happened. We used to walk in be offered a table but no acknowledgement so we sat down and no one came over so I went to order the food at the counter. Firstly the pancakes had been taken off the menu which was very disappointing so we decided to go for the donut breakfast only to be told we couldn’t have that as they had no donuts??? We were in a donut shop and I could see donuts so I asked again and yes we couldn’t have it as there was no donuts. We decided to leave at that point I did email the company when I got home but got no reply.

Went here for a quick drink before my work Christmas do at the escape room place nearby. Had never been before that but loved it! Cosy atmosphere, clean tables with real candles lit on each one, and a great selection of drinks. I had a fantastic locally brewed Christmas ale. Bar staff were great and took time to answer questions, and the whole place is steeped in history. One of Eastbournes best pubs for sure.

I went for a drink with my Aunty, Uncle and cousins all of us are well over 18.. I only had my international drivers license to show my age. They would not accept it, I even had a photo of my passport as well as my Aunty asking if there was any way I could have a drink. They would not allow me to :( went down the road, didn’t even get asked for ID!!! Go to the star or crown..

If you want awful food this is the place to come. Kebab meat under cooked bits of bone in, tasteless. Salad not fresh . Over priced !!!!

Lovely man helped me when I lost my £2 an food was beautiful now my go to takeaway I cried on phone as I was upset hard day and the man understood an hellp me out so grateful

Useless barista. Was waiting for 10 minutes to get a water before catching my 3rd train of the day. He only had two drinks to make but took so long I had to put the water down so i could actually catch my train. If it’s going to take 5 minutes per order, you need to hire more not acceptable for drinks to take so long when majority of people are in a rush.
