Very good service and great value for money great food. Will be going back for more, highly recommended

So used to frequent this pub a lot and back in area so thought a lazy bank holiday afternoon on the river with my sister would be just the job. We were seated at our table to be told 2 mins later we were at the wrong table and asked to move. Said table remained empty for the rest of the afternoon. We ordered drinks and food. The starters were ok but nothing special Mushrooms just a few and squid which was just average. Our main course was chicken - ok and pork belly - very difficult to cut right through the slow cooked meat . During our meal out drinks ran out and no attempt was made to ask if we wanted more - a missed opportunity Also we sitting next to water/sauces fridge which was constantly left open with a waiter also smashing a glass next to us. They cleared the table but again no attempt to ask us if we wanted more . We eventually got the waiter’s attention and ordered more drinks and dessert. My sister’s Apple tart was great but I ordered the cheese and biscuits 3 of the tiniest bits of cheese the chutney took up more space on the plate all in all a very disappointing visit and sadly will not be visiting again.

Ordered a pepperoni passion a week ago today, the result was shocking I returned it complaining it didn’t have double pepperoni or double cheese and was told it did, the burnt patches were apparently cheese Upon eating it I realised I had been lied to, the burnt patches weren’t cheese and the pizza really did have very little pepperoni on it I requested a new pizza and was told it may not be any better than what I’d already been given. Disgusted I left the shop with my moody pizza, and declined the frustrating offer of a free drink Complained via twitter and was given a link to a form to complain, no response within a full calendar week, further compounding my frustration SOMEONE CUT THIS PIZZA AND THOUGHT, YEAH, THAT’LL DO…. Shocking pizza and shocking customer service.

HORRIBLE FOOD Come here for a Friday night take out expecting a good experience little did I know it was gonna be nasty. For starters they only had döner, burgers and chips So I opted for the döner Little did I know it was gonna be burnt Not impressed DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wait time over 45 minutes and then told our chicken wouldn’t be ready for even more time. Only one staff member working. Food was great however really disappointed with the wait time and lack of staff. The employee looked worked off his feet.

In house great, last night deliveroo order absolute crap! Worst delivery pizza ever and no fault of deliveroo. It was as if the pizza had been made and left on shelf for half hour prior to delivery. Salad was great, pizza worst ever. Paid for immediate delivery surcharge, and tracked rider so not deliveroo fault. Shame on you pizza express, totally let down and won't order takeaway service ever again from you. Pizza was hard, cold and worse than a supermarket frozen pizza that had been overcooked and left on shelf for half hour before serving. Horrible experience.

I visited the minnow to have a bit to eat for lunch and the food was fabulous it ticked all the boxes!!! A special mention to my waiter Tristan who was polite and friendly

No complaints at all about the fish and chips at £9.95. It was superb, 5*. But the tortilla with salad arrived without the dressed carrot and cole slaw mix, had to be sent back. No forks so had to use a tiny picnic one use with a proper knife. Courteous and helpful start.

Lovely food, very welcoming, great pub much better than it was a year ago, I will definitely be making this an every week event, had the most lovely time, can’t wait till next week taking hubby there for his birthday 🤗🤗🤗❤️

🙁 What a disappointment. My order arrived missing the milkshake and the chips were stone cold. Won't make the mistake of ordering through deliveroo again. Shame as in the cinema the food is so good.

The lady in the till wasn't very nice. After telling us they run out of pasta and chicken, she gets upset because we didn't think in a second option straight away and took us an extra minute to order an alternative. We just ate here because it was already late for the kids, we assume the food is not great but at least we expect a good service to compensate the quality. And btw, how can they run out of anything being a supermarket?????

This was a group Cafe Bridge meeting including lunch. Lunch, the wine and coffee were very expensive. £14 for a glass of Sauvignon blanc. The service was poor. Obviously not used to serving several tables at once. We had pre ordered. We waited 10 minutes after our pasta dishes were served, for Parmesan and condiments. Not appropriate for this gathering. No choice given - pasta only despite paying a premium. Service charge 13.5% excessive.

I have always had a good experience with Squires café’s. But yesterday was a massive exception and disappointment. I had a reservation for 3 people. Arrived to a half empty café – red flag. It then proceeded to go downhill starting with server and IT issues. Then we asked after the roast – no that is finished for the day (1pm!), smoothies, not doing those today, milkshakes – not enough milk, welsh rarebit, not available…. The next item saw us get up and leave. Apparently on speaking to an assistant, this has been happening far too frequently. Not only did they lose our meal custom, but also possible purchases in the main part of the store afterwards.

Food is excellent. They are happy to add or take something out of a dish if you don't like it.. Value for money. They really pack out their containers. And give me extra crackers for my parrot.
